With Saturn heading into  Libra I was mulling the changes I have made and things I’ve learned during Saturn’s transit through Virgo.  In my case most of the stuff is centered around communication. For example I no longer write, “The thing is broken” to technical people and expect them to go from there.

I’ve also learned to avoid long dialogues with trolls who show up on this blog which represents something larger, my accepting that there are limits (Saturn) to what I can fix (Virgo).

I got in an conversation tonight and was asked what I wanted. I responded:

I am getting married… very, very happy. I want for nothing right now.

Boy, it’s a hell of feeling. I have it before but it’s been fleeting and I knew in the moment it would be.

This time my feelings are deep and  I think I can get back here from anywhere, at any time, with very little effort.

Love unrequited, it’s a fairly common story.  What is unusual is that it seems to dog men and women fairly equally and there is not much that fits that bill.

Pining is a Neptune phenomena so as far as a marker in a chart goes, Neptune tied up with Venus would be the thing to look for both in the chart of the person pining and the person pined for.

The first thing to note about the Cardinal grand cross is it is not a Cardinal grand cross. Mars in Cancer, squares Mercury in Libra, squares Pluto in Capricorn but it is Uranus in Pisces (a Mutable sign) that completes the configuration.

What has happened is we’ve morphed from an “almost” Mutable grand cross to an “almost” Cardinal grand cross and personally, I have felt very fortified since these planets shifted. I’ve reported this on the boards, on facebook and in conversations with friends and a good number of them feel similar so I was thinking about this today.

One thing about this job is you get to work with people around the world.  I love being exposed to a such a wide range of people, their beliefs, various moral standards and cultural rules.

A lot of the consulting work I do is focused on relationships. There are couples from the same or similar culture living in their country of origin, couples from same or similar culture living in a different country trying to maintain their core beliefs and couples who fall in love across cultural lines and face tremendous challenge trying to get their families to accept an outsider.

I don’t think people send greeting cards via snail mail the way they used to. I know some people don’t like e-cards due fear of computer viruses and the like so…

Do you appreciate getting Christmas cards or birthday cards via snail mail? Do you send them yourself? How about e-cards? Is this generational?

Email / texting has pretty much replaced letter writing but how come e-cards have not done the same with paper cards?
