There are, in my opinion, certain things that flatter certain signs. Whether you use your chart ruler, or your Venus which can affect your fashion choices or your Sun, here are some ideas that you might consider. Whatever placement you live through the most is where you can apply these tips.

Aries: I know, you Aries cannot be bothered by fashion often. You live your life as a force of creativity and often are defined by your actions rather than your fashion, HOWEVER, why not give life some help by dressing for more effect?

Your sign mate Mariah Carey and her stylists have a great idea for you and that is: go with your natural beauty. Notice that Mariah often wears make up that shows almost nil. You want to find beauty products to use on your face that will play up your active lifestyle and that means natural make up looks that accent your beauty, are fast and show your skin in it’s best light. Try chemical tans, bronzers, lip gloss instead of lipstick and make every choice fast to apply, as fast as you!

Aries, if you can master red on your top, around your face, you are empowering yourself. It is not often that an Aries will wear red and this is puzzling because red can give so much energy to an Aries and also put so much energy out. If you are light skinned, go for an apple red and if you are darker skinned, go for a blue-red.

Taurus: You are grounded in reality. You are the most grounded in reality but like to be comfortable at all costs. Use this in your fashion and make up choices by playing up the colors and fabrics that reflect comfort. Barbra Streisand is your sign mate and she is a master at being herself and playing it up with luxury. Wearing sweaters or tops that are made of the most pure fabrics are best for you and wearing them in earthy colors that show you are grounded. Beige, Brown, Copper, etc… are colors for fabrics that are good for you. Cottons that are soft, not stiff, cashmere, and upper line wools are great for you. Spend just a bit more so your cotton tops feel like they have been “broken in,” for years and so are soft and lay on your body like drapey, soft fabric. In the lowest price point you can find cottons that are soft and worn in which will suit you the best. Sweaters that are not itchy but soft and touchable will make you happy and make up that is natural and good for the skin will feel the best on your skin. You feel your skin very much and you live in it every day so invest in it by looking for product that cares as much for you skin as you do. Dermatologist recommended or created are best for you even if you stick to the staples like Aveno or Cetaphil.

Cancer: First, let’s learn to play up the bosom with the right fitting bustier that stays up, looks lady-like, supports you and yet gives you that low cut look you love so much! It’s an art to cut a bustier that fits correctly, and have your bras fit perfectly too! Play with cuts and brands of bras so you find the best for your body that makes your bust look the very best it can and to do that go and try on bra after bra and put a tight T shirt underneath it in the dressing room to make sure it is giving your body the right look which is support, flattering the bust line and yet making you look slim on the sides. The right bra is constructed the right way and there are tons of styles to chose from. To give the bust lift, try a razor back underneath even clothing that doesn’t call for one.

Watch your neck lines on clothing and play with those too. Find the most flattering for you. Do you look best in a V neck? How about a mock turtle neck? Try a scoop neck and try the scoop neck of every level until you find your perfect level. That level of scoop neck is also your best level for necklaces you wear! A necklace can be make or broken by wear it lands on your body so you want to find your best length and start collecting a necklace collection that suits you perfectly and is varied in styles so you can wear a necklace with just about everything. Remember: If you clothing has any embellishment it is best to avoid a necklace because your clothing is already bejewelled. It is also best to avoid earrings that are too much of a statement with embellished clothing. Cancers like embellished tops often and so it’s best to know the rules when wearing them.

Leo: Let’s get those necklines in shape too! You want your hair to look it’s very best with your clothing so pick clothing that sets off your particular hairstyle. Too much of a scoop neckline takes away from a beautiful head of hair and it becomes important to pull your hair up or back. A collar that is noticeable will play with your long big hair well and set it off. Mock turtle necks play well with almost all hair styles and those Leos with pixie cuts or short “cartoon cuts,” look very cute with a mock turtle neck setting it off. Faux fur collars are great for you, Leo and always look good with a lot of hair. Make sure you have embellished collars in your wardrobe for times when you want to put it all out there.

The best eye look for big hair or a mane of hair is always less lipstick and more eyes. If you are a Leo that went for cutting most of your hair off for a particular cute look remember to accentuate your eyes for maximum glamour. Darkened eyes look great as do “deer eyes,” when you have shorter hair. Try using a bit more make up on your eyes if your hair is short. Play masterfully in colors for your hair look as well. So many choices!

Leos, you want more than one look out of your hair cut. You want to be able to play with product and electric tools and produce another look or two for your hair. Ask your hair cutter to consider that you want to be able to play with your hair and present differently when the mood strikes you.

Earrings can work wonders with your hair, Leo, so have an earring wardrobe that goes from simple studs to hoops to go with your ever changing hair look. An investment in accessories is not a bad idea if you are Leo as well. Stay away from the statement pieces in necklaces if you are going for a look that accents your hair and face and go with, again, earrings that can mix themselves in your hair and show a whole new side to you! “Bed Head,” has a lot of different products to do your hair with as does “Bumble and Bumble,” and Play Clay is a magic potion in and of itself if you can find it.
