Saturn In Libra: Will Work To Be Attractive

Astrology in real life

This came up in the Colosseum today but I have been meaning to write about it. With Saturn in Libra people will begin to work (Saturn) to be attractive (Venus). In thinking about this I recalled the last time Saturn transited Libra people started jogging! Yeah there were so many joggers the streets were full of them prompting local songwriter Woody Janda of the band, “Chuck Wagon and the Wheels” to pen his song, “One Less Jogger On The Road”.

The only time I run is when the cops are chasing me down the alleyway,
and buddy that gets old,
I ain’t no track star so I duck in the bar…
and there’s one less jogger on the road.

Har har.

Saturn in Virgo prompted people to get serious about their health and Saturn in Libra teaches us to decorate ourselves.

Just consider it finishing school because we’re up over the horizon, out being seen now and it is your responsibility to look good.

Good time to be a plastic surgeon, then.

Not necessarily, Beth. Saturn can elevate “doing it the hard way” into a virtue. Exercise strengthens the bones as well as tones muscles and Saturn really likes that.

Plus most of us have far more time than money these days and cosmetic procedures for purely cosmetic reasons are not covered by most insurance policies. Sensible, IMO.

Saturn, as soon as it crosses over, will be conjunct my mars, so I’m not sure. Will it repress my urge to be sexy? No idea. If what you’re saying is true, great! I could use a little extra motivation.

I hope giant shoulder pads don’t return.

I read an article where they are negotiating to bring back the Dallas TV show.

Fashion has been working very hard to bring back the 80’s styles. So far, it hasn’t clicked with the average woman. Let’s hope it doesn’t… I’ve torn my last T shirt. Now they are pre-torn, 80’s style!

Jill and Annalisa, I love the 80’s and early 90’s era, but I hate the fashion. Blech!

Yikes, that’s my rising. I have a feeling it is also going to be very much about relationships. like, have I learned yet how to relate on a mystical level than of one of need and ego satisfaction?

“I hope giant shoulder pads don’t return.”

Oh, shoulder pads are back. No arguing about that. But they are combined to sharp, 1940’s silhouttes rather than to boxy shapes popular in the 1980’s that made everybody look like footballers.

And, luckily, there are other very strong trends too. For instance, the Chanel-style jackets have been done by virtually every retail label this autumn. They seem to be bestsellers too.
