Wow, you just described next decade’s fashion. The 2000’s’ fashion was very sexy and showing a lot of skin and guys dressing like rappers.

I’m guessing the 2010’s will be less ‘flashy’, which his very Sagittarian in nature and more ‘refined’.

YESSS! I’ve been waiting eagerly for “big” to go out of style and didn’t think it ever would.

Maybe “big” vacations, “big” shopping malls, “big” iMax movie theaters, “big” terrible music, “big” birthday parties for kids with freaking clowns and strippers and ponies (joke) will go out of style too?

So, how long will Saturn be in Libra (anxious for the Old Man to leave my sign).

“So, how long will Saturn be in Libra”

Roughly 2.5 years but it will cover about a 3 year span because Saturn will retrograde back into Virgo for a few months in 2010.

I don’t think so. Not with Pluto, too damned bland! But balance is good. Breasts that tip a person over or are as big as my head are terrifying to Saturn in Libra. ;-)

balance is good. Pluto in Sag- every thing got way too big, way too flashy and sexualized. (I think that and I have a Sag moon.)
But I’m sure by the end of the transit we’ll have had enough of Capricorn too.

Ha ha, that would explain why girls wore so much make-up in the 80’s to try and look sexy! Pluto was in Scorpio, the sign of sex. Why didn’t I ever think of that?

I don’t miss the hairspray but I do love the colors and leather and music of the 80s :).

I’m so happy to hear this. There is a lot of magic in subtlety… My art is small and subtle. And those conservative colors CAN be sexy– it all depends on how we work them :)!

More natural beauty will be in? I think I can deal with that :).

Well I think the current blown our lips and jutting out breasts make women look like the plastic sex dolls of the 70’s / 80’s. It just can’t go on…

I am mean I am sorry but this is like Beanie Babies or hula hoops or pet rocks or the Chinese women who bound their feet or any other short-lived fad.

Think of the women in paintings that have stood the test of time…

People are simply going to want substance and something real.

These days we have “organic” food going into fake people. ha ha ha ha.

Organic beauty is what will be “in” and it never actually went “out” for that matter.

Here’s hoping Pluto in earth will bring having a lower center of gravity back in vogue. :)

Seriously, I would love to well fitted clothes come back - neither oversized like the ’80s or so tight all the bulges show like we’ve had recently. A beautifully tailored suit in a ’40’s style is soooo flattering to most body types.

haha…you are so right Elsa
” These days we have “organic” food going into fake people.”

Just read an article about how it`s becoming more popular to move your fat around in stead of silicone ect .. organic surgery:)

It will be good to see a decline in real life barbies…

Don’t worry, they’ll find a way to sell us modesty too… organic food is already the most expensive “variety”.

Conny remember clackers from the 70’s? Two heavy balls on a string?

The soldier says he wants them to be the new symbol for testicular cancer. He wants everyone to go out and buy a pair of clackers, hang them from their rear view mirrors and their belt loops and purses to show they are against testicular cancer.

Har har har, the public is so easy to manipulate.

Ha ha, of course I remember them :) and for a touch of wilderness they could also offer this model (just with 2 balls):

I hope modesty will be back like French chic, without dullness. Believe it or not, French fashion seems to tend to being sexy without showing skin. It’s making me sad that in stores like The Gap and Nine West, stodgy and less bold fashion in the name of “basic” and “wearable” is coming back. I liked the season when Nine West started accepting architectural heels. That’s when they had all the suede shoes.

I like the trend of various kinds of blazers, both fitted and lose, and dresses. And also layered black. I hope people can turn the conservative trends to something interesting.
