The Moon in Capricorn Conjunct Pluto Today… Damn

Ah man.  Some of you know I am freakishly sensitive to some things, namely thing that are super energetic like those boxes of things the soldier sent me over the years. It’s a big joke to him how I have to let a box like that cool off, or in one case I just lay near the thing in the dark for a few nights, absorbing. One box I did not open for almost a week… I just know me and I know better, there is nothing else to say.

So today I went to go pick up his families old movies that we dropped off to have transferred from super 8 and older film to dvd.  “You going to watch em, P?”

“Hell no. Are you kidding me? No, I’m not going to watch them, I am going to wait for you to get home and we’ll watch them together and even then I am going to have trouble.”

“Oh, P…”

So I get to this guy’s house and sure enough he’s got the dvd playing. Yep, I look at the TV and there is the soldier’s mother (hot) with 2 little boys toddler age.  “I suppose one of them is him?” the guy said.  I didn’t answer, I was just… mesmerized.

He went on to flip around through the dvd, talking technical stuff the whole time.  Water damage, this. Film emulsion that. Meanwhile I have an eye on the screen watching what the soldier had not seen since he was about 13 years old.  His sisters as babies, with writing on their stomachs… it turns out they were traveling internationally so his father wrote their names and addresses on their stomachs in case they got lost… and so on and on and on because even though less that 10 minutes passed, I started to get dizzy.

“You probably don’t have time to go through all this,” the guy said, finally sensing something.

“I am becoming overwhelmed,” I said. “This is overwhelming me…”

I left shortly after, got in the car and dialed the soldier. He didn’t pick up because he was going to sleep but I’d forgotten that so I dialed him again.

He picked up the 2nd time and I started rambling.  A few minutes later I started rambling and crying.  He knows me pretty well, ya know.

I turned on to the highway headed home after attempting to articulate my emotion, realizing I was not all that coherent. I told him I would call him later when he woke up and I got home though that made no sense because he was not asleep.  3 miles later all hell broke loose.

Yeah. Next thing you know I’m driving down the highway, SOBBING.  I mean I started crying hard. Hard, hard, gasp, sob, gasp… well, fuck.

I kept driving and I kept crying, I tried to call the soldier - no answer. He called me back and by then I was totally jacked. I guess I didn’t write about it the other night when I contemplated but things in film and things seen in mirrors and in pictures…  I am FAR more sensitive to them then anything else and the solider knows this of course. I started rambling through heaving sobs, telling him what I could see in the film.

I finally got home and I am okay now I think but the next time I tell the soldier I am not going to rip into something like this, I think he’s going to concur.

Right now I feel like I’ve gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. I don’t know what the hell is wrong with me.

I have an old tin cigar box with small reels of all the footage my dad ever took of us kids. He gave it to me years ago and I need to get it converted but it just sits there on the shelf. That will definitely be too touch to watch. Its my dad when he’s young. and it makes me think how I didn’t appreciate my parents very much. They did the best they could. I have no video at all of my kids, just a lot of photos. Tooooo many. That’s another project.

I did cry all day for various reasons. Who cries at the end of Miss Congeniality? “I really do want world peace” hahaha I cried at everything on tv, the Kennedy funeral, you name it. Weird day.

Well, I recovered. But I’m not kidding, next time I get a box or something old… energy that has been contained like this, I am letting it cool off and I mean for a month.

It’s sometimes amazing how much energy stuff holds, and even more amazing that some don’t feel it. Still contemplating sending the boxes of stuff I took from my time with the ex back for this very reason. I’m tired of holding on to it already, it’s not happy for me, and I know he can toss it without thought. It’s just stupid stuff holding me back: what if one day I actually want some of it and I know everyone in that circle is going to think it’s some kind of ploy, when all I want is to be rid of it. Can’t give it to charity, though. It seems wrong somehow.

Aww, Elsa, I’m sorry you’re feeling so emotional. Sometimes it’s hard to explain why we get like that, but I think it’s better for it to come out than to shove down. And at least you guys will be able to talk it out.

Can I tell you a funny story about home movies? My friend was looking for home movies from her childhood (which was in the 70’s), and she only found this one reel of film at her parents’ that was unmarked except for a label that read NO INDIANS PLEASE. She brought it to a shop to have transferred to video, and when she picked it up, the guy at the shop was acting really weird with her. She got home and put in the video, and it was half of an old-timey porno. With title cards and everything. She called her mother and was like MOM WHAT IS THIS, and finally she got it out of her mother that her father used to host stag parties, complete with porno screenings. Excellent. She never figured out why it was called NO INDIANS PLEASE.

Just that one part you shared with us about the soldier’s father writing the names on the babies so they would not get lost…well that makes me want to cry! I can totally relate to the overwelming emotions seeing this footage.
I’m kind of curious now about what sign soldier’s father was doing that…and maybe there is a Taurus sig. on that family? Very Taurus like to tag the suitcases…put home address in the child’s pocket…or in this case….on the belly. That is adorable.

Lindsey, he was a Virgo. It’s quite incredible. The kids are like 2 1/2 with all this information on their stomachs. They also have each kid stand in front of a chalk board with their name written (no sound) - kids are small, 2 kids 3-6 years old, but then they do the cats - the cats get their names written on the chalk board.

It’s just a million years away from how families are today which is one the heart-wrenching things.

I apparently “transmitted” energy to the soldier yesterday, he dreamed all night and woke up this morning… argh.

Oh, the cats’ names on the chalkboards! This is reminding me of the toolbox soldier kept (the one his son made for him)…earthy sensitivity running through the blood there.

I can tell stuff from pictures and/or reflections in mirrors that is not obvious when I am right in the room with someone looking at them. It’s Saturn Neptune nature I think. Clarity via the hologram version? In whatever case he will be home tonight and we will probably watch unless it’s very late.

Sure is something to see hugging the cat. He’s very happy in the film. The whole family is. 4 kids under 6 years old. It’s such a different era. Horn-rimmed glasses and appropriate dress.

He is also screaming his head off at about 5-6 years old - I mean he is HOWLING, because he wanted a GI Joe haircut and barber balded him. He HOWLS, thrashes around from room to room and stomps his foot, pissed OFF!
