Transit Watch: Mercury Conjunct Saturn In Virgo: August 17, 2009 - Watch Your Mouth… With A Story To Illustrate

Mercury will conjunct Saturn in Virgo on August 17, 2009 and if there were ever a time to watch your mouth, it’s now and I saw a vivid illustration of this yesterday in court.
A man was in their representing himself, asking questions of a witness. He was somewhat flustered and he kept making statements rather than asking questions, like this:
“You did blah, blah, blah to me.”
The judge kept interrupting him to instruct him to ask questions rather than make statements. He assured him that he would have the change to make statements when he testisfied and the man tried to comply. I mean he TRIED but he just could not get his mind to form a question so every time he opened his mouth he was chastised by the judge.
The judge was very good. He showed the man respect and he was very patience but by the 4th or 5th time (in a row) he had squash the statement and instruct this guy, his tone became more serious, The guy was shaking his head. I could feel his frustration he was just frozen up there and after a 6th and then a 7th failed attempt to form a question the judge explained that if he continued to make statements rather than ask questions he would find him in contempt of court and he could possibly go to jail.
“Now do you have any more questions?” the judge asked for the 3rd or 4th time.
“No, your honor.”
That gives you an idea. If your mind is faulty - sit down!!!

A footnote to this story - that guy got on the stand and performed very well. It was just like a wire was crossed in his brain somehow… probably thought about what he wanted to say but thought in the wrong format…
Looks like if we don’t watch our mouths, it will done for us. Judge=Saturn shuts up mouth=Mercury! 
i actually booked off work today. my regular dispatcher and i get along like a house on fire…today is the fill-in…the SWF i wrote about elsewhere…hell-bent on driving me to the loony-bin with her power tripping. last night i was in tears i was so angry thinking about having to work with a person who is by turns resentful of me and jealous of me. i swear to god i just want to work…it is stupid to think i am not earning $$ today because i can’t work with her but i really feel like a loose cannon and don’t want blood on my hands today!

Thanks Goddess. Today was the first day in a while that I felt a little better than the day before instead of worse.

I have been trying to stay beneath the radar today and yesterday….my brother’s son has contacted me several times and I have composed emails to him and tried to be very diplomatic about the whole situation….I just pray it works out without too much of a mess….but, it really is like walking a minefield.
That’s funny Elsa…it is interesting to watch people defend themselves and they want to get to the meat of the matter and in direct examination, they fumble. I have noticed that those that are good have done it many times before or they watch alot of court TV……
Just got a slightly bitchy email from my boss, very passive-aggressive, and I’m so biting my tongue to keep from writing something back that would knock her out of the water.
Then again, says Libra, maybe that would be me channelling the Saturn portion of this little drama.
Who knows? I’ma keeping my lips sealed. *lol*
i yelled at somebody on the phone today. i still kinda think they deserved it, but I hardly ever yell.

Thanks, Rand - You’re right. I’m totally not a yeller. I could count on one hand the number of times I raise my voice in anger over a year and have fingers left over. Now, if we were talking smartass remarks, that’s a whole different ball game. But yelling, no.

Wish I had read this on the 16 August… went completely loco on someone who does not even factor in my life at all. Dumped a whole bunch of irrelevant garbage on them. Caused a ruckus in a hotel and left to find alternative accomadation, came back to retrieve bags, got told I couldn’t have them until I paid £300 for ‘noise pollution’! Wow, and it all seemed so strange the next day… completely weird.
