Transit Watch: Heads Up - Grand Cross August 18th -29th, 2009
My eye on the sky
I’ve been mentioning the out of sign Grand Cross that is but isn’t over the last week or so. It will form in earnest around August, 18th and stay that way through about the 29th. Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Uranus and Pluto are involved, making this a serious situation any way you turn it.
Further, the Moon will transit in aspect at times and when it does people and things will be super sensitized. I have good news though, or at least a diversion.
We are making you guys a calendar where you can track this stuff and plan ahead. More on that soon, we are working on it now.
People most personally affected with be those who have planets or angles at the very late degrees of the mutable signs or very early Cardinal.
I consider this like a ride on the scrambler. If you like that, then fine. If you don’t then brace because once we go into this period we won’t be through it until we’re through it.
How do you feel about the Scrambler?

Making a calendar is sooo considerate — thank you, ElsaElsa team!
I happen to like the Scrambler ride quite a bit, or did when I was younger. However, in general… any light at the end of the tunnel for the late mutable/early cardinal peeps? My God. (Can’t wait for the calendar.)
My first date here in the US was going to the fair and riding a bunch of rides…don’t know if the scrambler was one of them, but all I remember is being cold to death….(coming from a latin country) and being scared to death and my date laughing at me and saying, ‘you look like you are having an earthquake!” cause I was shaking so hard! Nice part was he held me the whole time….to keep me warm and to calm me down….hope that happens again!
I used to love the scrambler, but I think I’m ready to just sit and people watch for a bit. Being late mutable, apparently that isn’t going to happen, so I’ll just buckle up and hold on. I did notice that would be the first week of school, so I know it will be shocking to my family’s system.
I started out today with a head of steam, feeling good, and have really pooped out. Mars, that jerk. Work has been a mosh pit.
I like these entries and also hate them because I get uberanxious, thinking of all the ways things could GO TO HELL.
Imagination is a double edged sword.
Ugh. I’ve got everything late mutable - Mars, Sun, Mercury, Ascendant in late late Virgo, Pluto at 1 Libra, Jupiter at 29 Sag - and I am ready to stick my head in the sand. I’ve had 19 months of this already and I’m not really sure I can take anymore. Is anything nice on the way?
Yay and thanks to the Elsa Team for the upcoming calendar!
Don’t like the Scrambler or anything that physically jerks me around.
I loved the Scrambler! But then again, my whole life has been the scrambler.
However, I think I would compare this current planetary stuff to “The Rotor” instead — you know, that ride where you’re standing against the wall inside this dark circular room; the room starts to spin you around so fast that you stick to the wall and can barely breathe or move (complete with nausea-enhancing strobe lights)… and then, if the spinning wasn’t bad enough, the floor drops out from under you, and all you can think is, “This is it… I’m gonna DIE”.
Yeah, that one. ![]()
No, no, no, don’t like scrambler - already not liking it (late degree Sag). I don’t even want to think about what it’s going to be like later in the month.
The transit watch pleases me very much!
OMG that is the coolest friggin’ thing I’ve seen in a long time! (And some of it’s makin’ me giggle)
Thank you thank you thank you.
Looking forward this calendar! My Moon is very late mutable, Mars very early cardinal & angles just early cardinal… I am wondering what the diversion will be…
Funny, I always loved the Scrambler - to the point where I would seek it out at any fair we went to & ride it over and over and over…haha
Sounds like big stuff…I’m up for a ride…
Someone very close and dear to me is precisely ‘on the grand cross’, so to speak (whatever that may mean, Elsa could know it better) - natal Sun and Mercury on the cusp of Pisces-Aries opposed (natally) by both Pluto and Uranus. I hope the experience of ‘the scrambler’ is not much different in this case.

the scrambler may be the best thing in the world, in my estimation. that said, I’m not sure how pleasurable a metaphorical scrambler will turn out to be. yikes.
