One Unimpressive Trine… Oh Woe Is Me! “It’s the new mother nature takin over…”

My upcoming solar return which I know is wicked. I don’t look at it because it’s akin to looking at open heart surgery or something which is not something I’d line up to do having Libra and all. But I am feeling so happy today so I threw the chart up and noticed there was just one trine in a sea of hard aspects on the angles no less. I am not complaining because the sky in general is acute these days and I doubt many of you are much better off.
In whatever case, a song came to mind that amused me. It will be my anthem for the year. No Sugar Tonight In My Coffee! “It’s the new mother nature takin over…”

I just looked at mine, and it involves several positive aspects to Venus and the Sun, but also a huge, hulking grand cross. It reminded me of a line in the Barenaked Ladies song “Pinch Me”, “I feel fine enough I guess, considering everything’s a mess.” Looks like I’ll be feeling pretty good, despite how much my life sucks, ha!
I looked at my Solar Return this year and if I don’t count aspects to the angles - there is 1 square. Moon square Pluto - almost exact. That’s the only aspect the Moon makes. The only aspect the Sun makes is a Sextile to Pluto. There are no, nada, zip Trines. Only 1 opposition. Everything else is a sextile or a conjunction. Strange chart in deed. Libra rising. Uranus and the Sun in the 5th house. Whenever I look back at the Solar Returns prior to important relationships entering my life, Uranus has been in the 5th house. Well… he’s got 6 months to get here. 
I looked at my solar return out of curiosity…Now I’m petrified, but it certainly explains a lot…

Lyrics are beautiful and true. The melody slays me. Sweet yet it has a certain drive to it.
Funny story about this song. Where did I find it? Well, I’ll tell you. I found it playing in the background of an amateur porn clip. (it’s my job) I thought to myself, now, I like that song. I noted some of the words and googled till I found the title and artist, and then googled some more to, um, procure it. (for the record, my first instinct is to legitimately BUY music.)
It was a rather sweet scenario… an obviously older couple from Australia were lying in bed with the wife taking his matters in hand, as it were. Touching, really. I like to think it was “their” song. Now it’s mine.

This requires some thought! I could have rapid fired a few answers or song choices today but they would have missed the mark.
Err, with saturn squaring my moon and mercury from the 5th house and pluto opposing my moon and sun from the 8th, I think I’m going to be dealing with a lot of self imposed restrictions on my feelings and emotions while simultaneously feeling Very strongly. I’m going to put a lot of pressure on myself which will only add to the pressure I would feel otherwise. I’ll probably be engaging or trying not to engage in lots of power plays and wanting to connect while repelling connections at the same time. With Uranus squaring my sun and moon I can also expect this year to be bat-shit insane, and aggressively ridiculous. So, “Army of Me” by Bjork and “Cuckoo” by Animal Collective can sum all that up pretty nicely. Cheers!

Alphaxys, you just convinced me to investigate Bjork beyond “Debut.” Love that CD but not sure why I never took it further than that. “Venus as a Boy” and “Big Time Sensuality” are my faves. Thanks for the great suggestions!
I heard ‘We don’t need no more trouble’ by Bob Marley today and somehow that struck a chord. Sort of like singing about all of the troubles affecting others that are swirling around you. It is hard to be dispassionate, yet somehow as he sings that he sounds sympathetic but disconnected.
