It struck me today what diverse group we are. I like that we have people around here (a lot of them) who are utterly and totally unique and I don’t this is usual.

Usually on blogs with a lot of participation you either have a lot of people saying the same thing (i.e “Yes, I also think she gained a pound” about the poor celebrity) with the occasional dissenter or you have two groups bickering like on the political sites. But here we have a spectacular mix.  The user her is diverse by age, race, sexuality, political leanings, level of education, location, you name it.  This is something I love and something I want to foster.

I know many of you like Annalisa’s fashion posts and new people are coming here because of them.  Some of them are sure to stick around and I think it will be interesting to see how they interact with the core here.  I imagine they would lend new sensibility - perhaps class the place up a bit?

Towards that end and thinking along these kinds of lines if anyone else has an astrology-themed specialty they would like to post about here from time to time, let me know because I really do think her posts are adding flavors to this mix I cannot create on my own.

By the way if you do like the fashion posts, please speak up because it is hard to produce and be creative with little or no feedback.  Same goes for anyone else who contributes here. This is an art appreciation zone!!
