“P, you’re an actress! If you wanted to be an actress you could easily be one,” the soldier claimed.

“No.”

“Yes. But there could be no kissing scenes. You could be an actress but you aren’t going to be able to kiss anyone.”

“Not even on the cheek?”

“No, hell no, you’re not kissing anyone on the cheek or anywhere else. If you were to be an actress there are other parts you could play. You could be a nun for example but you’re not going to make some movie with some guy where you get in bed with him and kiss the bastard.”

“No?”

“No. You make a movie like that, I am going right to the set, going to march right up to the director and say, get me a movie! Make a movie with me and some blond girl, do it right now, on a set right next to P’s set here. Do it, do it now!”

I stared.
