I have hired satori to do some stuff behind the scenes on this blog. I can’t pay her much but I am paying her and it occurred to me last night it is possible she could wind up with a full time job if she wanted it and some other people could work here too. This seems pretty shocking.

It is shocking but I have come to a point where I can’t cover all the bases and it makes sense for me to focus on what I am best it, namely creating content and being available for consultations.

I miss creative writing terribly but it is just impossible to get into that kind of mindset when I’ve a million details to attend to so as you see me struggle to evolve you’ll know what I am trying to do. I am trying to free myself to be creative which I think is what everyone around here would like to see.

It’s so strange to see the shift over these last months. It’s all become so practical! Had to trim the Dispatch or there will be no Dispatch and now I have to pay people to do things around here or there will be no content!

I don’t think any of this is bad of course. The blog is growing and this is progress! But I have definitely gotten to a place where I can’t sustain this blog without help. If you would like to pitch in, please email. There are fun non-boring things that people can do.

I can do them myself but if I do, I will be forced to continue recycling content. This may not be the worst thing in the world but this does prevent my addressing the current sky which would probably have more value for the user.

satori is now doing the “year ago” posts for me which is a great relief.  Her effort allows me to create new content rather than cut and pasting the old.  Begging for links to grow the site only goes so far. I am looking now for other kinds of help that will allow me to write often and well and let that grow the site.

Thanks to everyone who supports this blog in the wide variety of ways you do.  Your efforts have helped tremendously and I am trying to arrange things behind the scenes so I can better positioned to give you more of what you want.
