Stuff I Am Interested In Astrologically

Ask the collective

I desperately want to take on parenting / the crisis of parenting and other deep issues of Pluto in Capricorn.

I desperately want to write about the Saturn Uranus opposition having grown up in the midst of one.

I want to write about innovative astrology theory and I want to write stories that no one will every hear any other way… again

Of course I want to write about psych and projection, relationships and tricky things I think of in the night.

What are you interested in astrologically?

focusing my untapped strengths and figuring out how to use my saturn and pluto effectively. with heart. rather than as objects of destruction.

Jessica - yes, it’s a big one and frankly I think I am just the mouth to spout off about it!! I am really trying to carve out this time because I’ve gotten to a situation where I think of writing something but decide it is too ambitious. I just can’t commit to these difficult topics when I have so much admin stuff however I am working on fixing this and expect success. Figured out that dispatch, yes? This will be like that. I just keep trying until I get it!! :)

I vote for you to give us your take on the Saturn/Uranus opposition - both then & now

Okay, well, I will be an eager audience for that one, and I can be your special attachée to parenting blogs, if that helps. :)

I’m starting to collect data and case studies for research on astrology and eating disorders. It’s turning into something really interesting.

Also:
acute Pluto transits
anaretic degrees
Nessus
nodes!

Lookit the Pluto people queuing up! We should work together on something.

I’m interested in parenting too, especially compatibility between children and their parents and compatibility between moms and dads. I’m pregnant and my due date is August 31. Premature birth is pretty common in my family, so he’s cutting it pretty close between leo/virgo. It would be very leo-like to come early, though, don’t you think?

Why the Neptune-Jupiter-Chiron conjunction is making me feel totally blotto when it’s supposed to be such a transformative, uplifting transit for everyone.

I would like to learn more about mars/pluto aspects because I have the conjunction and I don’t see this alot in other charts. My best friend has the opposition and I know kashmiri does too.

It has such a bad reputation which I think is unfair and I would like to know more.

Not a fan of those Neptune-Jupiter-Chiron planets either, Stephanie.

Small picture - making sure I’m on the right track, finding out blind spots, ways I might be behaving like an idiot, etc.

Big picture - current events, politics, spirituality

I’ll echo Vajra and want to know more about how to work with hard aspects, both natally and in transit, instead of letting them bite one in the keister.

Lately I’ve become more intrigued by the minor aspects — sesquiquadrate, inconjunct, quintiles, etc. If you’ve got an exact one in the right (or wrong) spot, it’s astounding how it can affect you as much as a major aspect.

And, the group of more well known asteroids and dwarf planets, of which my beloved Pluto is part, dammit. I’ll never be able to accept that. Team Pluto!! :D

This is the lovely thing about the internet. Veracity of information aside — I’m a fan of cross-checking — the potential for self-education is nearly limitless.

I was thinking about what you said about parenting; I would love it if you did a colosseum type thing and we could send in the charts of our children. That would be really fun!

I love the idea about the Colusseum for our children’s charts!

I started studying astrology to better understand a parenting crisis which turned into a holocaust with the Uranus-Saturn opposition last November. I have a pretty good handle on that now. Don’t like it, but have mostly come to terms with it.

What I have been drawn to more and more is tracking the inherited planets, signs, placements etc… from generation to generation.

If i could do horary charts with any degree of accuracy, I’d love it. As it is, i’d just like to be able to use charts to help single people find traits of people who are going to be very good for them.

Also, like Vajira, I find thigs happening in 12th house really hard to interpret. And particularly the Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune conj.

I’m interested in return charts at the moment, and how to look at e.g. Mars return chart in the same way that solar or lunar return charts are used.
