Vintage Astrology Blogging: A Jupiter Story For Y’all - What Do You Mean You’ve Never Been On A Plane?
Just A Romp…
Here is a very embarrassing but hopefully entertaining romp. It is meant as a diversion because I think people could use one. I wrote this in about 2002, because I am a fool. It was posted on this blog in 2006. Here you go:
Here is a Jupiter / Sagittarius / Travel story for pure amusement. It’s true of course. Jupiter rules the truth! Jupiter rules storytelling for that matter. And travel, planes, what you believe, bluntness etc. all of which are prominent in this bit, which is clipped from the middle of a much longer story…

Astrology Is Not Therapy, Plus There Is No Retainer… Hooray!
Astrology in real life
Lots of comments on today’s provocative consultation testimonial. I added mine and I wanted to elaborate. From the comments..
One thing, is if you are the type that intimidates people (not that she is, this is not personal to Dina) or someone who routinely dominates all interactions, I will stand up to you which can be shocking. However if I don’t do it the client will get nothing from the consultation and that is not acceptable to me.
I learned this by consulting astrologers myself. I would pay them - do all the talking / dominate and then get off the phone thinking it was all a waste of time… not only mine but theirs too.

Astrology Today: August 1, 2009 - Faith And A Back-Up Plan
My eye on the sky
That is a picture of the aspects in the sky right now and I don’t know what you’d call that besides a bad day for air traffic control! If you’re a newbie, just imagine all the red and blue lines are jarring, the green represent ease and even a novice can get a feel for this.

Client Testimonial: Bad-Ass Mother Of An Astrologist
Recommendations from clients.
Dina in Jersey writes:
Dear ElsaElsa
I got an astrology reading from you recently, and it proved to be very difficult for me because I whenever I reveal anything personal to anyone, I feel extremely exposed and vulnerable. So, while it took me a few days to “recover” from a complete stranger suddenly peering into my soul (you essentially handed me my own ass in the reading), I have to say that it was rather illuminating. There is one single line you wrote which has set me free: “You see yourself as a victim in relationships, but it’s not real.” This explains so much!! Prior to having this session with you, I was doing a lot of weeping. No more of that!! I still don’t have everything solved for myself, but at least I’m starting to understand. So thank you! You are one bad-ass mother of an astrologist. Also: I am addicted to your blog.
Rock on, gypsy woman.
Thanks, Dina!

Astrology Today: July 31, 2009 - “High Maintenance People Who Provide Low Return…”
My eye in the sky
The Moon is in Sagittarius trine the Sun in Leo which is the best we’ve seen all week.
Venus in Gemini also catches a trine from Jupiter, Chiron and Neptune in Aquarius but suffers (?) a square from Uranus in Pisces and when you put that all together what you get is happy, skittish, delusional, transcendent relationships… er… I think.

What I Really Like About This Blog!!!
Astrology in real life
It struck me today what diverse group we are. I like that we have people around here (a lot of them) who are utterly and totally unique and I don’t this is usual.
Usually on blogs with a lot of participation you either have a lot of people saying the same thing (i.e “Yes, I also think she gained a pound” about the poor celebrity) with the occasional dissenter or you have two groups bickering like on the political sites. But here we have a spectacular mix. The user her is diverse by age, race, sexuality, political leanings, level of education, location, you name it. This is something I love and something I want to foster.

Astrology and Fashion: Celebs And Their Style: Scarlett Johansson by Annalisa
Astrology in real life
Scarlett can appear to us as both sophisticated and a “sex symbol.” First, we must take in regard her Pisces rising that aspects Pluto in it’s home in Scorpio… This gives us an illusionist and someone who appears often in reflective gowns on the red carpet that reflex back to us and make us think for ourselves. A Sag. Sun gives us a woman who likes change and challenges, who likes to learn. Pluto in Scorp, trine Pisces gives us sex.

Vintage Blogging Under The Scorpio Moon - “What Song?” A Priceless Lesson
Commenting on the comments
Lorielle asks regarding my recovering from my broken relationship with the Scorpio with the secret - “What song?”
Lorielle, I was driving to meet Leon and his last wife - old friends. I had felt low and off my game for months when Sonia Dada came on the radio - this was the first time I ever heard them. “You don’t treat me no good no more” (story continues below the break)
