At The Moment I Am Real And I Like It

Astrology in real life

satori made this comment on My Daughter, My Life. It was

“the reason Horton had to keep saying it was cos no one ever BELIEVED him. they only believed him when the outside evidence became overwhelming.”

I suffer terrifically from people thinking I am fake. It is chronic problem with very rare periods of respite and I am in one of them now.

I remember when I first started writing (in 2000), I wrote about Scott and no one believed he existed. Then one day I wrote “ALLY ALLY IN COME FREE”, just like that on my blog.

I was calling… er, whoever, and within 24 hours, Scott contacted me. After 17 years of on and off, we’d not talked in 13 years and next thing you know he was writing for my blog. People could not believe it. All the sudden this “character” was alive and vibrant.

This pattern has held since. I wrote about the soldier for 2 years before he every surfaced in my life, I wrote about my sister for 8.

Today, HQ is posting to the boards… he has been an enigma in my life for almost 10 years and on top of that…

Well no one believed the soldier was real either for the longest time and let’s face it, some of my claims are outrageous. What the hell is the “best soldier in the world” anyway?

Well today, you see the jacket, yes? That IS the jacket and today I feel the Neptune on the midheaven fog has lifted and that perfect trine in Earth (Venus/Mars trine Saturn) is there to vouch for me.

I am so grateful, I know it won’t last.

ps - Ben is real too but he flips out when he comes here.

“They don’t know you at all, do they?”

He’s said that more than once. Ben stops by every couple years and goes away scared. “Who is it they think you are?”

“Er… I don’t know.”

Leon is also, real. That is his hand in front of his face, guarding his stellium in Scorpio.

Arie? Real.

Kay, who only shaves one leg because she can’t decide? Real.

Darth Vader? Real.

Sonia? Real.

The double Scorpio who broke in my house and got in bed with me naked? Real.

The cruise ship people? Real.

The shells on the beach I tried to get for my sister? Real.

The guy who cracked the other guy’s head open on the pool table? Real.

The guy who lived in the middle of a golf course? Real.

The guy who owned a golf course and a chain of gold stores? Real.

Blind date to fly around the grand canyon? Real.

Friend who got her car hit by a train? Real.

I could go on you know…

Personally, I never doubted you…you always seemed EXTREMELY real to me. Your stories have the air of truth about them. But, then, that’s just my perception ;) (coming from a fellow Neptune on the midheaven person, I don’t know how much that counts.)

The only reason I read this blog is because you’re damn real, Elsa. Since I’d never read a blog before (maybe once or twice in the middle of the night- who knows which one) I wasn’t sure what this was about, other than astrology based. At first, I was even confused about how to post and what happened when I did.

But sure enough, when I asked you direct questions (privately) you gave me straight answers and kept clear boundaries. Your consistent outing of “The King Who’s Wearing No Clothes” is hugely attractive to me.

I think when we open our eyes to our own lives, we’ll recognize the motley crew of characters that have always been there. You have the balls to write the unabridged version of your personal experience. This in itself is unusual and for me, healing.

Neptune or no, I see you girl and you shine bright!

I agree with Cherie, Elsa. I only discovered this blog a few months ago and at first did not know what the hell was going on! Who is this soldier and what IS she on about?! But it soon became clear that you are writing from your own life, which makes the astrology real and so much easier to understand than some of the wordy, wordy, intellectual stuff that’s around. After all, if it’s real (astrology), we should be able to identify it at play in our own lives, otherwise what is the point? More power to your elbow girl.

Thanks all. opal, it can be strange depending on where you land here - first. There are almost 6500 posts here and almost 9 years of solid blogging. This is my 2nd generation blog, there are at least this many pieces on my original blog so its just an unending story. However the soldier is a very strong character and many think he is made up. One person thought he was my alter ego, but really there is an actual freak like him in this world… and his counterpart (me) also exists.

I think there are a lot of people in the world who live in a kind of woolly fog of unsurety; and along comes someone like yourself and the soldier who are clearcut and strong about what you think and feel, because (it seems) you have done and still do the hard work of trying to cut through the fog and be clear and self-determined in your attitudes and thinking. So they don’t or can’t believe it, it’s too threatening. Wonder if Pluto in Capricorn will sort ‘em out.
