Another Synchronicity (and more evidence of my competitave nature)

Astrology in real life

gavelI was talking to the soldier about a client, she has court next week.

“I like to talk to these women before court,” I said. “I really like to make sure they’re shored up and ready.  I ask them if they have an attorney and they usually do but that doesn’t mean anything.  Doesn’t mean they have a good one. I mean the attorney takes the case whether he (or she) knows what they are doing, anyone with any brains who has ever called around looking for one knows this.  They tell you some crap and say, hire me.  They are in sales basically and I guess they plan to learn on the job because…”

I cited an example from a few months ago when I was shopping an attorney. I talked to more than a dozen of them…

“How many of them knew what they were talking about? One, and he was a psycho! A true psychopath so I’m just saying the attorney does not necessarily prepare the client for court. It’s just not like TV is what I mean. The average person goes in their completely overwhelmed so I like to talk to them and get them shored up and feeling like they know what they’re doing. They can have some command.”

“Yeah.”

“Yeah, because I like my clients to win. I mean it. I like MY client to win. I don’t want them going in there messing it up because they’re afraid so I am very careful what I say to them so they get the message and go in there and perform.”

“Yeah, P. You tell them.”

“I do tell them because I just want them to come out on top, I don’t know what else to say. I don’t want any clients of mine losing.”

I hung up the phone and within 10 minutes I got an email from a gal I consulted with awhile back about a case. She got double the settlement and no fight in court. :)

I am telling you this makes me happy as hell.

Mars Mercury in the 9th fights (Mars) smartly (Mercury) in court (9th house) and in (Libra) negotiations. I basically try to give the client my knife and tell ‘em how to stab with it.

Har Har Har, and then I laugh at my own jokes.

If I did nothing but mastermind “court” I would be happy. You guys didn’t know that did you?

You mentioned on another post about quite a few attorneys being Libras and that is so true….and what you just wrote above is absolutely true…attorneys are salesmen and I have watched some stuff go on…me being Moon in Libra…in the courthouse, I love it when the good guys win. I have been working at this courthouse for almost 9 years and new attorneys come up to me and ask me all the time….who is the best judge, what should I try to negotiate…

I can see how you would get a kick out of it! It is fun because every case is different….

Well, I just registered domain astrologeratlaw (thanks to satori for the idea).

I have been interested in this, er… since I was born, I suppose. Then I looked at the chart of the registration and ooh doggie, I done good and at random which says even more.

I do think atty’s are salesman but was not thinking of them in court, denamaria just because it’s not my vantage point but boy when you call them they sell the living shit out of you by various means. Just the array of the means is spectacular to me.

Pretty much all my clients have an attorney provided they go forward so I wind up sizing up their attorney and filling in. The lawyer may have an angle they play because it works well most times but an (I mean this) astrologer can scope the strengths and weaknesses of the individuals and very often come up with a creative play.

I have no problem hijacking a case from under the lawyer and showing the client a better idea if one is obvious to me. It’s like getting a second opinion, I have saved people all kinds of money and just as importantly, stress and grief.

When you are right, you can, justifiably laugh at your own jokes! Years ago, my closest friend, a very perceptive and naturally funny gay guy, said(very generously, as he disliked him) that he felt my boyfriend, at the time, had a very dry sense of humour, which he really enjoyed.
Emboldened, I asked ‘Am I dry?’and after a long pause… he said…. ‘No, because you laugh at your own jokes’I was deflated, but realised that
by not being deadpan, I ruin the punchline.
Ha! ha!(oh, should have stifled the laughter)

This is so strange. I know someone who needs the astrologer at law. A friend, single parent, whose son is on the brink of getting involved with gangs…
Well done Elsa.
