3 Years Ago On The Elsa Blog: Scott vs Arie On People and Their Natures, Redux: What’s a Libra To Do?
Astrology in Real Life…
Thanks for the comments and answer to the question, “Can people be redeemed?” Having Libra I can see both sides of this debate on human nature and further, I could argue either side.
This is why Libras make such good attorneys by the way. If you walk into court fully understanding your opponent’s position you’re at a terrific advantage.
And do you have any planets in Libra in your chart? What about the opposite sign, Aries?

nothing in aries, and pluto in libra.
I see both sides easily, but i think this has to do more with being a pisces with neptune conjunct the moon. Maybe i should say I sense both side.
Love the Madame Alexander doll!
On topic… yes, it’s fairly easy for me to see both sides of a question. It doesn’t mean I agree with either one or the other, but I can usually understand where people are coming from.
The serious disagreements I have had I have seen the other side, but only after much discussion. Some people think of me as thick-headed because I disagree with them. I have Mars in Aries, nothing in Libra (obviously).
I can definitely always see both sides of any conflict…in fact, sometimes I can see more sides than other people think exist.
No planets in Libra, but I have a Gemini asc, so there you go.
Oh and I have Jupiter in Aries.
I have Mars in Libra, and no planets in Aries but 3 planets in the 7th house. There is always the “other” to think about.
three planets and my ascendant in libra. no aries.
I have Jupiter and Uranus in Libra and a Pisces Moon so I have to work on being less wishy-washy.
I can definitely see both sides of a conflict, no matter who is right or wrong. I prefer the truth and pragmatic outcomes in matters of conflict. When it comes to being in trouble with me, tears may get you a hug from me but not release you from responsibility for your actions. If you did something terrible but won’t admit to it/take responsibility, I will see your points, but hammer you into the ground with logic and language.
Referring back to your other poll, I said I always give people the benefit of the doubt, but it’s up to them.
I have no planets in Libra or the 7th house for that matter. I have some in Aries, though–Sun, Mercury and Jupiter, actually. Mars resides in a comfy Gemini for me. I’m really “uppity” and a “do-gooder.” Maybe it’s my Aries Sun and Sadge Moon.
Um. Sun, Jupiter, Mercury, Venus and Uranus in Libra. Chiron in Aries. Like Ronda, I see more sides than other people think exist.
I have strong Libra and 7H, so I see ALL sides.
I have strong Virgo, so I *analyze* everything.
I have strong Scorpio / 8H, so I ‘leave no stone unturned’.
I used to be insufferable (’know-it-all’ effect), but ‘growing up’ is teaching me how to handle all that better.
Oh… P.S. — my high school teachers INSISTED I be part of the Debating Team. (I didn’t want to be.)
I picked ‘on occasion’ because i’m not sure about myself. I have pluto in libra 7th house, nothing in aries. I was on the debating team in junior high and high school. I was the rebuttalist and have been known for my love of ‘arguing’.
Very Aries here. And I say, ‘Pick a side!!’ My bf is a darling man, but he’s the sort to see all sides… Can be very frustrating waiting for him to decide on his own position. *chuckles*
Funny, I have Libra rising along with some other Libra in my chart, but I have an Aries moon. I’m a paralegal, by the way
I would say out of my chart, I feel the influence most of Leo and Libra. Both are concerned with justice and loyalty, aren’t they? Well, lemme tell ya.. you don’t wanna to cross my path! *L*
Sun, Mercury, and Jupiter in Gemini in the 7th house so there are at least two sides to everything in my opinion.
I can see both sides of a situation pretty easily. I’ve got Mercury, Venus, Jupiter in Libra; all in the 7 house. I have the Moon in Aries in the first house and Aries rising. I’m also one of the Scorpios that “lurks” around your website…:)
I chose the “pick a side” option.
I have scads of Libra, most notably Mars, but I have a very fixed/cardinal chart. I may see your side, and even admit it could be valid for some. But, in return, you WILL see my side and respect it. *lol*
I always wanted to be an attorney, and I am a libra thru and thru. I used to think it would make me a bad one because I’d be in court fighting against some attorney and they’d bring up some point and I’d be all “DAMN - that was a good point!!” but then I realized that being a Libra would make me prepared for just that thing.
I’m an Aries, raised by a Libra. Nice in many ways, since we balance one another - she’s my best friend, still. And frankly, I don’t know if it’s her Libra influence or if I have planets hanging out in Libra, but when the mood strikes me, I am balanced in my opinion. That said, in typical Aries fashion, while I fully support diversity in opinion (and really, what fun would conflict be without opposing opinion?), I do tend to pick my “side” and stick with it… vigorously! LOL
Can see many sides to an argument. An over-used phrase with me is “on the other hand……..”
No Libra planets. Aries in Saturn in 12th and a Gem Asc. I can’t make a decision to save my life. The more I think about it the harder it becomes.
Yes, readily.
Pisces sun in 7th house (Libra’s house), Neptune in Sadge, 3rd house. Uranus in Libra, 1st/2nd house, trine Venus in Aquarius, 5th house. Hate making the smaller decisions.
O.K., I do have Merc in Aries … in the 7th house!
i don’t see anything wishy washy about understanding a conflict from multiple angles. refusal to act can be wishy washy. or it could just be a recognition that a particular situation doesn’t require action.
but, eh, i have a tight libra/aries opposition with other stuff weighing in. and pisces mars, so i guess i look at “wishy washy” a little different from your typical aries.
Yesh! I haz Libra! In buckets! My rising sign is aries. I am the ultimate diplomat, except every once in a while I choose to pick a fight. I always feel remorseful if I just smooth the situation over- but it is a good trait to have in fashion retail.
Good to see zefellocello agin!

I am 11. I can see both sides, but with effort. It takes me a little explanation to see what ze person is saying. I have Jupiter in Sadge so I want to know what others are thinking. So true!
