He is given to drama and creativity and this thrills you. But he craves security, struggles for it, security is what you are about. Yet…you fear that safe shell as well…look at mother figures for answers. Part of you leaps forward, while the other craves the safety you’ve not known.

I know you are new to my blog and this is an unusual question for me but I take all comers! I read you email and looked at your chart for “8 years of hardship” and I just couldn’t see it. This is not to say I don’t believe you, I just couldn’t see it.

I looked at your husband’s chart thinking he may be the one in trouble and you the one suffering due your empathic nature and while neigther chart is “easy” by any stretch, I just don’t see anything I can pin the “8 years” on. The root cause of a problem is generally very obvious to me so I started to feel a little nervous and I went as far as to grab at a straw.

I looked at your progressed chart on the chance it was a spectacular train wreck even though I knew I should see this in the natal. This didn’t matter anyway because there was nothing to explain it there either. This left me with no choice but to conclude you’ve got your shoes on wrong.

By that I mean there is a fundamental problem. If you have your shoes on the wrong feet and you are waiting to feel comfortable in your life, you are going to be waiting in vain. So I want to focus on your chart but first I want to get this out of the way: You have the right man.

You and Dan have got tremendous synastry. You’re bonded, you’re committed, you buoy each other, you can talk, etc. and so on. That right there is your Ace in the Hole. I specifically use that phrase because having an ace in the hole gives a feeling of security which is something you need.

You are fear-based, overlaid with faith and I think the more completely you understand this (and ultimately embrace it) the better things will get for you because you will be able to actively work to get your needs met.

Your primary need is for security. Your secondary need is for variety of communication, and you also need significant down time.

You are probably getting these needs met now but in a way that is akin to having your feet covered by shoes that are on the wrong feet rather than having them on properly. Your feet are covered all right but there is a better way. There are many better ways and I will layout out some possibilities for you.

First shore up your security with your Ace in the hole! Let Dan you need to be reassured of his solid commitment to your family. You have simply got to have this nailed down if you want to better function.

With your security fears quelled some, you can work on the anxiety problem that prevents you from working (and having security!!). You are essentially afraid of your fears and it seems this has disabled you to a degree and if you don’t push back the problem is likely to get worse.

Now you have Aries so you do not lack bravery. You are actually invigorated by challenge so that’s the way you want to frame this. Consider yourself to be oppressed by your fears and opt to change that. The potential to be liberated from your fears is also shown clearly in your chart so I’m not talking about something foriegn to you but you must act.

As for nursing or college or some mixture of both, I don’t think it matters which. What is important is you get back to full time functioning for practical reasons but also because you have a desire to be successful.

I see you as Miss Polly, tied to the railroad tracks but you are also the hero, Underdog. The problem here is someone stopped the cartoon!!

We are at the point where Underdog is supposed to show up and free Miss Polly so she can get back to her career so I say, “Speed of lighting! Roar of thunder…”

As for being a boss, you and Dan are both formidable and born to lead. You should both be the boss of something, anything but each other.

As for being happy, success that leads to feelings of security is the path but even if you achieve this, you will have to opt accept happiness. Have you ever seen the movie, As Good As It Gets?

It is possible to make entertaining drama of your burden and this is a key concept for you. Miss Polly doesn’t have small problems but she manages to live with them, stylishly. Your willingness to commit to being a hero is the second leg and your intuition completes the trilogy.

Start saying, “I can” and “I will” rather than, “I can’t” and all kinds of good things will happen.
