An Astrology Experiment…

Behind The Scenes @ ElsaElsa

We’re still on task trying to figure out ways to monetize this blog. I have a few ideas and I want to test drive one of them.

I want to go back to my (cowboy) astrology roots. I want to write and think unrestrained. I want to entertain and have a good time with astrology so I need a volunteer.

I need someone to send me their data so I can get their chart up here and play with it. Diddle it, is what I mean and that’s not all. satori is going to be in on this as is my sister.

If you’ve been in one of my classes you know, satori does the graphics for them and her work enhances mine dramatically.  She’s going to continue contribute.

My sister is also coming in.  Her job will be to make a remark on the chart and we’ll just have to wait and see what her remark might be. Like all Panizzons, she is going to do and say whatever she wants.

I will do the bulk of the work and I think we will wind up with something very compelling that you can get nowhere else on this planet.  Sound good?  It sounds good to me.

Here are the guidelines:

Send your data along with your question or complaint.

Please be advised that while we do not lack sensitivity and have no desire to hurt anyone, all three of us are known for candor and bawdiness and we’ll be taking no pains to tone this down.

Also note this is not a free astrology consultation. You are volunteering to be part of performance art by Elsa P and her cohorts and various other support personnel.

Yes, this means I may consult others. I will be doing whatever it takes to make art of your raw material and yes, I will be showing off it at all possible because I was born to shoot cans out of the air, what else?

Oh, and speaking of bawdiness, Midara means bawdy in Japanese. My friends gave me the nickname in high school, and I’ve been proud to use it ever since. XD

Brilliant idea! But I don’t want the rest of the world to know that I could commit a cold-blooded murder and come out clean if I decide to focus my mind to it. LOL.

“I don’t want the rest of the world to know that I could commit a cold-blooded murder and come out clean if I decide to focus my mind to it.”

Just FYI, the person will be anonymous. I am not going to id them but they can id themselves and claim their chart if they want.

“How will you decide who’s chart to do?”

Random. This is exactly what I said it is. I had this idea and just I want to see how a collaboration of energy will come out. If I like the result, fine. If not, we’ll tweak like for example we might just take the chart with no instruction??

Provided we can come up with something good (not all my ideas work out) we will figure out what to do with it… and I have a couple ideas or options on that as well. But right now we have get something up here, judge it and let it be judged. And while I have worked with my sister on charts and worked with satori - combining 3 people is something else and I don’t see them in contact.

This keeps it interesting, see? It keeps it magic and that’s what we want. All three of us are wholly capable of assisting in ways that surprise so I will be trying to channel or lasso this which will be no small feat.

It’s like getting an orchestra together, see? We can all play but we have to play together, independently and the chart we get will be the song.

Okay, I picked a chart. :-)
I sent to my sister, when I get it back from her, I’ll write the copy and then send the copy to satori so she can match an image. I think we are a day spa, see? We are sending this chart in for (various) services and then we’ll put the finished product up here and hopefully it will please. :-)

Oh good, you picked a chart! I was thinking about whether or not to do the volunteer thing, considering that my chart’s very complicated ;) I look forward to this new experiment!

That’s awesome! Great analogy!

Elsa,

Have you tried site advertising as a way to monetize the blog? Lots of bloggers do this with success.

My instinct (and 12 years working in the web) is that it is very difficult to make money with a pay-for-content model - even if the content is good, not even the New York Times was successful.

I think you’d be better off trying to get advertisers and more eyes on your blog.
