Hey Elsa, Have you ever thought about a monthly subscription? Even something like $5 or $10 monthy or $50 a year. That would give you a little more of a stable income and eliminate the whole ‘guilt’ factor of the reader/subscriber. I don’t know about anyone else but I never really know how much to tip and always feel like it couldn’t possibly be enough, plus with a subscription, it would be there in black and white and you would have be able to spend less time selling/promoting and more time focusing on creating etc… Just a thought but I would certainly be glad to subscribe.

Good idea. The same as you would with any magazine you loved.
kvk101 - I like the idea of monthly subscription. It could just be an esubscription (electronic subscription in a pdf format). Its quick and easy.
I addressed this on the new post but people can put themselves on their own subscription and just send it. This is exactly what I am talking about.
Of all the people who read here, there has only been one who did that - Loonsounds.
Every month she sent a tip without fail. If she read something she liked or she profited from she sent another. She thought it was normal and so did I, even though she was the only one who behaved that way.
The same people who have stiffed me for a decade would never stiff a waitress. You can’t tell me this is not uncanny. It is uncanny.
Putting yourself on a subscription, that’s a great idea. When you said people think you make your money with your consultations, classes etc…and that the blog was just kind of your way of advertising and getting people interested and trusting you etc…was definitely what I thought. But it is very extensive and I’ve often wondered why there was no charge. So I’m glad you posted all of this information.
kvk101 - thanks for the prompt to write this. I might have cleared this up long ago but it has not been clear to me.
This push really is a result of a Saturn. I just have to make (practical) sense of my life. Basically things are (way) out of whack and I have to put them into whack so I am doing it.
I’m with you on the (way) out of whack:):) (Saturn is conjunct my uranus and pluto, square my ascendant and opposite my moon right now…oy vey!) and making practical plans seems to be the only way to the other side although right now it feels like walking through molasses:)

I agree but you can still tell it’s your molasses to walk through. I have a strong sense I am doing the right thing / something necessary and do feel supported because of it.

Exactly. And by God…if you’re going to walk through that much molasses then you just know you’ll find your sweet spot(sorry couldn’t help myself:)) but really, like you said I’ve found that if I stick with what I know is the right thing for me somehow it works out and it’s much better than what I was doing before.
This is why I started linking to your blog on my Facebook (and continue to share the entries there via Google Readers “share” option)…I haven’t worked since July 2007, so obviously I can’t afford to buy anything…but still, I try to send the linky-love! 
Once my ass gets a job (hopefully when Saturn goes direct! please, Universe!! please!!!), I’ll be able to support financially too…I’ve always loved your blog, Elsa

I would love to tip you for all the great and free advise i’ve found on this blog so far, but i don’t own a credit card (and i’m not in the positon of obtaining one), plus i live overseas (although i’m not sure if that matters). The only thing i probably can do, is spread the word…
