People can change. Sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst. If the past predicts the future then I’m in trouble.

The past can predict the future if we don’t change either ourselves or the situation around us. In my life I’ve seen it almost like lessons that keep on repeating until I’ve finally learned from them.

I voted Libra and I can’t decide. There are things that happen and have happened in my life and for the life of me I can’t figure out how the hell they happened.
You know, waking up in a desert with a mentally insane person sleeping next to you and no town for literally hundreds of kilometres…”how did I get here?”

I have Uranus conjunct my midheaven (opposing my Sun) and often find myself surprised where I am. I can’t even remember how I ended up on this blog.

The only thing that has any effect is the present moment. Although things from the past may need to be processed - The past will effect the future only if we are unaware and keep living in it and letting it determine our state of mind right now -

I can’t decide. lol…mostly because I believe that if we fail to learn from the past we are doomed to repeat it. In that sense, yes, the past does predict the future.

I find myself in the weird position of repeating my mother’s life in some ways right now. That is freaky as hell. It’s also one of the reasons I stayed in the marriage so long; I wondered if I was setting myself up to relive her life and maybe do it with more happiness than she could achieve. That is so not funny!

But I am happier now, and I figure hey. Maybe this is just what it’s supposed to be. I take it as it comes and just roll with it.

I think breaking away from the past/past patterns is really, really hard to do.

I don’t know - some people do the same thing over, and over again. Some people really do change, and I have seen it in someone that I thought I was going to have to break away from, because I didn’t believe they would change. But this person really did - so I say sometimes yes, sometimes no.

It can give an estimate, but no two circumstances are exactly the same, ever. Different possibilities follow different circumstances.
