Open Question: Problems You Don’t Have… Name Them!

Ask the collective

jupiterSince so many people are struggling, I thought it might be a good idea to name some problems you don’t have! ::smiles::

I’ll go first: I don’t worry about being perfect.

Since Saturn went into Virgo I have seen people really wig out when they put something in writing (a blogger for example) in which there is an error. I am sure they are especially sensitive with Saturn in Virgo but it made realize how fortunate I am, my standards are far more relaxed.

I write like crazy on this blog. I take all kinds of chances here, my grammar is ridiculous, I write provocative things almost daily. My hair is messed up, my lipstick is on crooked, it is almost as if I can’t wait to ruin my reputation.

The thing is I don’t feel I have to be perfect. I do feel I have to do my best at all times but I am a human being and I really don’t mind this being apparent.

I see people who are a lot less comfortable and suffer because of it so I am going to name this as a problem I don’t have.

I think I bypass this struggle due my strong belief in what I do. In other words, it’s a Jupiter function.

Name something others struggle with that you do not. Add the astrology if you can.

I’ve noticed that I’m getting a lot of gray hair. I think that’s really cool & am excited about it. Sun in 10th?

No matter how fucked up things get, I have this inner sense of naive optimism. Sometimes it’s buried pretty deep… but I know that it’s there. I believe in happy endings. LOL

I don’t try to impress men too much (Aries moon), and I don’t mind being alone and facing myself (aries moon and all the water on my chart)

I have no fear of commitment or restriction. That’s not to say I don’t have fear of boredom or mistakes, I just don’t have any problem committing (for better or for worse). The astrology is…hmmm. Well, Libra, being in a partnership is like breathing air. But I also think Venus-Neptune (delusion) and Sun/Uranus (no fear about getting free if I needed to.)

I don’t worried about getting laid. Aries Venus/Mars conjunction. Because I’m piggybacking you on the Aries train, sonah:)

When it comes to saying what I feel and believe about a cause/idea/personal issue, I am damn good at it. I just need to give myself permission do it.

Thanks Elsa. It’s a good point you make here.

I don’t struggle with being concerned about who does or does not like me. Mostly because people who don’t like me know I see way right through their bullshit. Astrology? Moon Scorp in 1st, perhaps? I think Leo sun helps too.

I am thankful for…

Jupiter in the 12th house… referred to as the “guardian angel” placement for good reason.

Taurus in the 5th house… I can always create a little place away from the rigors of the world and call it home.

Capricorn Asc… A great help on interview or any situation where others judge ones level of responsibility or work ethic based upon how one looks. It also doesn’t hurt to appear to age backwards.

Mercury retrograde in the 12th house in Cap, also squaring Mars(4th) and Midheaven… I can’t explain why I’m thankful for this, well could but I’m afraid it will not make sense to others (typical merc retro) nonetheless I am thankful… I am. I guess this last one is a challenge I do have that I’m thankful for.

I’m not afraid of doctors or hospitals. Sagittarius 12th house, Virgo stellium, moon in 6th?

…geez, I’m the ideal patient.

not a problem? spending many, many hours (too many probably) reading on occultic type subjects, from astrology and old religion to gov’t conspiracy and quantum theory :)

Eleven > I’ve always read that jupiter/12th has a somewhat negating effect on jupiter’s benefic qualities (I have this placement with jupiter in scorpio/12th and have found my ‘luck’ and ‘joy’ are rather thin - the whole dark starry sky vs happy blue skies thing)

flyingdog - disagree. Jupiter loves the 12th house, it’s the house it rules…

I don’t have a problem with death- never have. In fact it’s being here that used to be almost too hard for me. Now, I really DO want to be here, after 34 years. Not being afraid to die (Pisces Sun/7th) combined, thankfully, with a very strong innate survival instinct (Scorpio Moon, Pluto retrograde in the first), has allowed me to fiercely defend those that I love, even if I am putting my own life at risk. I practically raised my little sister, who was born when I was 7 (Mom had post-partum depression that spiraled down into psychosis), and this is how I kept both of us safe- but especially her.

Combine this with being able to communicate with the spirit world (Merc/Aq conj. Jup/Pis), I never have really grieved for anyone who has passed over, because they always IMMEDIATELY after death give me signs that they are around and very well! I’ve got no doubt that life goes on after death, minus our physical body. I’ve also had so many vivid visions of my past-lives that I am comforted by the knowing that I have been here before and will be here, again- as will those that I love.

I am grateful I don’t have a child who is very sick–cancer, heart problems, disease. I am grateful not to have lost a child. I have friends who lost their baby six weeks before due date two years ago, it was a frightful reminder of the difficult pregnancies I had. When I am having a frustrating day with the kids, it sounds morbid, but I think “I’m glad they are well and here to give me a hard time!”

I am greatful that :
I don’t have children who are now adults breaking into my house while I am at work and stealing my television or cellphone battery to sell it for crack.

I get into it up to neck and sometimes even over my head. Like a cat that gets tossed around, Jupiter in my 12th only ensures that I’ll almost always land on my feet, ready to move. It doesn’t ensure that things will be great or joyful or that I will not be tossed around.

The Guardian Angel archetype doesn’t so much keep one out of trouble (luck) as much as it leads one to safety or protects one in the midst of harm. I know a thing or two about being in the midst of harm, running thin on luck, and having less than joyful times. It’s more of a silver-lining/rainbow-after-the-storm placement than a blue sky placement.

That’s my experience with Jupiter in the 12th.

The 12th gets a bad rep most of the time so I’m not surprised to hear that flyingdog read that this was a bad placement.

Eleven> have to admit, that makes perfect sense. Mostly what I’ve read was that the 12th is kind of a dead-zone where things just don’t have much of any effect in daily life, turning whatever influence to more a subconscious level where we can’t access it..Jup being there would definitely “lighten the mood” of the house :)

PixieDust> LOL! Definitely a good problem to NOT have :) Is that the little known asteroid Harribacus in your 12th? ;)

I don’t obsess over my body, didn’t even as a teenager. Moon in Taurus/5th trine Sun in Virgo/8th, and conjunct Jupiter in Gemini/5th. Sag rising:) Easy peasy body image;)
Started working out at the age of 28 - am now 32 and look about 27-28:)
