Behind The Scenes… An Astrologer Watching The Astrology - Har Har Har

Astrology in real life

My sister is reading your guys now - she’s also an astrologer. She remarked at the 180 degree separation of opinions on this blog… the polarization here.

I told her it was indicative of the Saturn Uranus opposition which I think it is. And I was struck again by my familiarity with this (and hers for that matter).

We know know Henry was a triple Capricorn so there is your Saturn side.

My mother is a double Aquarius and my father is also an Aquarian with Venus, Mercury, Saturn and his north node in the sign, so there is the mega Uranus influence.

We lived in the middle of the desert, going back and forth between the two houses on a dirt path through the cactus and if you think we don’t understand this opposition… well, we do.

The fury on this blog right now? I’m sorry but to me it’s like home cookin’ or something!

The song is funny in this circumstance. It starts out, “Gee but it’s great to be back home!”

But other than that, I think of this song at least 100 times a week due the way people attack me on the blog. And I do try to satisfy you guys and I am tired, but here’s the creme on top the creme:

My mother played this album 700,000,000 times when we were kids so this is for my sister so she can marvel at her sister and her abilities which are of course are non-existent. ;-)

Hi Elsa’s sister!! She speaks very highly of you and your fashion sense. You’ve starred in many blogs and you seem to be just as much fun as she is– nice to meet you. (Enjoy the show, btw!)

Have you all seen Flight of the Conchords lately? Where the two main characters dress up like S+G in these exact outfits? Y’all might be TV-averse like I am, but I recommend this show.

she’s lurkin’ - not going to surface by request. Strange to explain but this is actually my job so people who know me in real life sort of stay back. Even one of the soldier’s friends told him he did not read because he didn’t want to be nosy. I thought that was pretty sweet.

I don’t think she’s read about herself yet, although people usually like it when they do. She did get a kick out of this one though and is lovin’ watching you guys. But she’s got this other perspective.

Pisces with Moon Jupiter conjunct in Sadge, many of you know so she is all about perspective and having known me my whole life she knows how people are with me so she’s seeing all this stuff… who knows what.

She also says I am very different then reality so I guess I really am a hologram. This is impossible for me to know of course, it is always a hall of mirrors all the time.

My mother did play this album all the time and me and my sister each had ONE album each as I can recall, eventually…

Well she had an album and I had a cassette tape. She had a little plastic record player to play her album (Elton John) and Henry gave me this cassette player and I walked around the desert by myself listening and pining to Jim Croce singing love songs.

The soldier was also listening to Jim Croce sing those love songs… we both had the same “first album:” but anyway, my sister and I would play her album and dance on our beds and then when we had enough of that, I’d go walking in the desert to hear my tape because I am far, far more private than she is even though it appears otherwise doesn’t it?

This was her album…

We used to dance our asses off to that. We were soooo happy - in bliss with the music.

see, we were completely deprived. Jeez, you just can’t imagine, I’m sure. And then we got these songs in the house and we thought we were in absolute heaven.

I mean all the sudden we could touch God and that’s exactly what we did.

It’s one of the reasons I create. You never know whose life you may be saving… who you are bringing hope and light to.

*waves to the dancer hiding in the wings*

I am pretty oblivious to a lot of stuff going on lately outside of my window of work focus, so I can’t really comment on the sturm und drang here.

I do have a fine appreciation of the S&G, though - and the ability to touch god through Simon’s songs and Garfunkel’s angelic voice *smile*
