From an average of a dollar a month in commission, as a collective effort, you guys are on track to pay the hosting of this site with your purchases. The hosting is $100 a month and you may have noticed the recent crashes. The Dispatch is hooked to this site and we are needing to either delete feeds or upgrade service. The next level of service is $150 a month. Thanks to everyone who has made it a habit to shop Amazon through that link. Here are the sales for February to date:

I also want to thank the people who donate via the tip jar. Every time someone does, I just about faint. I am just astounded for some reason, I don’t know that I can explain. But I can tell you I am very grateful - Thank you.

Elsa, I have a question which is this: Say, I am going shopping again, need something or some things. Is is better for you to get the credits if I wait until March 1st (given that you already have your Feb report?) Or, do you think any shopping I did today or tomorrow would just show up on your next report (March). Thanks, loons

Loon, if it were high ticket, the best time to buy is end of the month because the % of commission goes up based on how many items are purchased.

If it is a lot of small items, beginning of the month because that is what gets the percentage up (the number of items) so I get a higher percentage the whole month long..

Ah ha! May I ask what is considered ‘high ticket’ for one item? Over a hundred dollars for one thing, like? Is that high?

But say, it’s like 3 or 4 things that equal 100 plus, then I should wait?

Loon, I think just shop. But yeah, if you have something that costs $100 rather than $5, the end of the month is better than the first part..
