Can you call me and does it cost more?

Yes and no. I am happy to make the call as long as you’re in the US - I have unlimited long distance and no preference one way or the other.

If I consult by email and it takes longer than 30 minutes what happens?

I always stay within the time allotted. About 75% of the people get what they want or need in 30 minutes, the others want to buy more time and however they want to do it is fine with me. Some buy another 30 min or an hour. Others just want me to do a little more work so in those cases I just prorate the fee. In other words, if it takes me 7 minutes, I bill you for 7 minutes. I don’t mind this, I kind of like it because I hate wasting time, mine or yours.

Why are the phone consults 25 minutes rather than the full 30 minutes?

They usually are 30 minutes. I had to state 25 minutes in order to use that scheduler. When I scheduled manually, I could make sure I had a break between consultations but with this system it’s possible for people to schedule right up against each other which would leave me no time to finish one call and take the other. As it is, I rarely have consultations back to back to I do use the whole half hour block and beyond if the break comes at a poor time in the conversation. In other words, I am a human.

Do you work on a retainer?

I never have but I would. I do have people who access me regularly, 5 or 10 minutes at a time and then pay when they get to 30 minutes or some logical stopping place. I’d work something out with them but no one has ever asked so I just prorate.

I am extremely flexible and actually like catering to the the persons needs. I like doing longer sessions / deep work and I like giving a quick hit on something just as much.

It’s the same range you see on this blog but you can add in the fact I’ve got Mars in Libra and I am just plain motivated to work well with others and give them a fair deal.
