Some time ago I wrote and did some videos on the concept of what I call “currency” when it comes to love. All people do not love the same things… by a shot. What you do love can be considered your currency. Just imagine someone showing up with to court you and win your love. Their success depends on what currency they have to offer.

Now there are some people who are looking for money so if you have some they will consider loving you. Others (like me) are looking for a thrill so if you can provide one, I will consider loving you. Still others want safety so if you come offering loyalty, they will consider loving you… and so on, you get the idea.

People get in trouble when they assume that others value what they value and this is exactly what most people do. They offer what they like to other people and become confused or even distraught when it’s not valued and as a vivid example, I dated a string of millionaires when I was young (back when that was a lot of money) and they just couldn’t function on why I was not interested in them and in turn, I just couldn’t function on why they couldn’t function but the answer to this puzzle is very simple. The people have different values and one is not preferred over the other.

Now if you love someone… say if those men really loved me then they might have taken the time to discover what I did like and want (what my currency was) but no one ever did and consequently I kicked every single one of them out of my life and that was that.

It is pretty easy to discover a person’s currency if you want to… with astrology or just by observing. Their attitude towards love and money is also something to note.

For example, some people are never satisfied with either and some people are almost always satisfied with both. I am in the latter group and it’s very odd when I hang around someone in the first group. I mean, I understand them but I could not be like them to save my life.

In contrast when I am with someone with an attitude similar to mine it’s very easy to get along. Like the soldier. We threw our money on the table when we were kids. Whatever we had we put it up there and paid the bills and we do the same today. We never have a complaint about money and we never have a complaint about love… “You don’t love me enough!!!”

I think this is stuff is very interesting and also phenomenally helpful to understand.
