Yesterday’s Full Moon - What Happened In Your Life?

Yesterday the Moon was full in Cancer. I hold the full Moon illuminates both literally and figuratively which means the houses where the Sun and Moon fall are accentuated.
You can see a very distinct manifestation in my life when you read about the soldier (Sun / man) and I (Moon/woman) are putting up a light in the home. They Moon was in my 6th house… so this was a chore.

this happened right on the cusp of my 12th and it was all pretty internal. hard to express, really.

The full moon was in my 7th. I went to see Revolutionary Road, solo. It’s a movie about many things but the complexity of human relationships figures.
I was glad to be alone, it’s easier for me to cry in movies if I’mby myself.
Before I took the bus home I went to the drugstore and bought my first lipstick and lipliner, ever (I’m 31). Kate Winslet’s lips had me mesmerized!!!
Every full moon - without fail, I clean the whole apartment, rearrange furniture, purge crap and donate a whole bunch of stuff to Goodwill. It’s a compulsion, and this full moon was no different, except that I also can’t seem to stop eating.

P.s. I haven’t seen “Revolutionary Road” but I already know that it will make me cry. Heck, the trailer almost made me cry! I am also avoiding “Marley and Me”…

I think it was in my 11th. I had the best day I’ve had in a long time. Went to the gym, skied, met up with friends and had a long debauched night of fun and drama. Walked my dog at 5:00 am and just soaked up the moonlight and danced around the streets listening to music on my ipod.
I also made a wish.
Full moon on my natal moon in 4th house Cancer. I was very very lethargic all day and night. I found myself conked out by 7 PM but woke up at 11 and could not sleep until 4 AM. I beaded three necklaces to put me to sleep and I chatted shortly with my boyfriend, who was also very lethargic and was asleep early yet woke up late.
Today’s my first day of makeup school (trying to become a Certified Makeup Artist) and I think I’m half-excited, half scared. I also had to do a total schedule overhaul: I hate mornings, for the most part, but I had to wake up at 6 AM to get myself to the gym to fulfill another new year’s resolution: to STOP being prediabetic.
Anyway… whee! Back to work

Oh, I had such a great day. It was in my 1st house and I had such a great weekend…. I had a good time doing nice things for myself and my son and friends and stopped stressing about the things I normally stress about. It was so nice, because that last full moon in Gemini really smacked me.

Full moon was the last day the ex lived in the home. Moved his stuff in storage, has money in his pocket from the buyout, but no home.
It was just a gorgeous, exquisitely beautiful day and sunset. I took my dogs to the lake, which is surrounded by huge red rocky mountains. Was the first time I’d been there. I don’t know what else.

The love of my life passed at 4:31 1/11/09 denver time. He was the light of my life, and just slipped thru my fingers.. I hurt so bad .. and so lonely..Peace
What was so special about the full moon on January 11th 2009?
Bily– I think a lot of it depends on where it hits in your chart and the chart of your loved one. I think that particular full moon was closer to the earth than usual. full moons are the end of a cycle that begins about two weeks earlier with the new moon. it’s thought to be a culmination of what begins in that cycle.
more specifically you could google “full moon cancer” and the date. if you want to know more about full moons in general I’d google “astrology full moon cycle.”

Yesterday, the idea that Mars transiting my 9th house might account for my recent rampage across the pages of Facebook (with regard to some current events)really gelled. I was tempted to put up a note saying “Mars is transiting my 9th house — please accept my apologies if you are trampled by my high horse.” The full moon was a 9th/3rd thing for me — with the Sun in the 9th maybe shedding light on the situation. As a Mars in Libra person natally, it has been noticeably weird for me to be spoiling for a fight over ideology.
