Saturn Turns Retrograde and Capricorns Groan - December 31st, 2008
Astrology in real life
Saturn turns retrograde tomorrow and Capricorns groan. Capricorn risings groan, as so Capricorn Moons. People with stelliums in Capricorn groan the loudest and do you want to know why? It’s because goats are made to climb! That’s right. And while they may be equipped it’s always precarious. Have you ever actually looked at a mountain goat? They have wobbling knees!
So how would you like to be one of them, clinging to the side of a mountain, hmm? Jeez, I can’t imagine why Capricorn fears failure (falling). Could it be because we’re not crazy?
And what about all those other critters who scamper right past us… rabbits and so forth. What the hell? Do you think a goat feels confident in these conditions? As the soldier would say, “Get off the space shuttle!”
So what happens to Capricorn when Saturn goes retrograde? It like being sent back to REMEDIAL school. It’s like being scolded… “No, you up too high. You go back down and get some more skills before you try to make this ascent.”
Whaaaaaaaaat? What about all those damned rabbits? How come they get to stay up there and dance. Look at ‘em up there!

Got Capricorn? Leave your lament here.

Yeah. I got Capricorn. Dang! Isn’t there enough going on in there already. My lament? I’m broke. Broke until a few seeds planted way back when come to fruition in late Jan/Feb. So there is light at the end of the tunnel - until then its lentils and porridge. But I do have some great friends and family around now to buoy me along.
On another note: I have avoided borrowing money to get through because its just gonna be too hard to pay it back. I’ve confessed my financial embarrassment to a select few…I figure some just don’t understand what it means to skip paying rent to do Christmas dinner, that the ex skipped his child support payment this month blah, blah, blah.
Thanks for having a space to lament my woes.
What about Capricorn Venus? The little goat of my heart is in no mood to fall off the mountain. Oh yeah, I guess that’s why I’m still single!
I’m a Capricorn. Saturn is currently in my 4th. I believe it is going to make me revisit the hell that was the Saturn-Uranus opposition in November. I have just come to a sense of peace and acceptance over all that, but I did know it would continue to come back.
“Could it be because we’re not crazy?”
haha, I like that.
My Cappy moon is feeling pretty breezy right now, but I guess we’ll see what tomorrow brings..aye..
ohh wait….a New Years Evening at my folks’ house….that can’t be good…haha.
Kinda like Stacey though, I’ve been having this feeling of peace and acceptance about everything from my family to my self.
I’m ready for ‘09. Never looked forward to a new year so much, and I’m hell-bent on making it a good one, for better or worse.
Saturn in Capricorn, 4th house. I’m actually relieved to go back down the mountain and fine tune things. Climbing too high too fast makes me scared, sometimes more scared than clinging to the side of the cliff. At least I know I will keep moving, even if it’s downward and inward for a while. (Translation? Taking care of myself even as those closest to me lean heavily..entering into contract negotiations at work…making my physical health a priority.) The emotions connected to all this are pretty intense for me right now.
I don’t know about anyone else but I’m climbing (literally) higher mountains this year. The higher and harder the peaks the better. All this free land to roam and learn from must be what I need. I’m planning, oh about a minute out ahead of myself. Everything’s packed for travel anytime too.
I don’t want to travel where I’ve been again. (Is that what Saturn retrograding means?) I’d rather take a different beating…my fault though…
My Capricorn moon makes me think that I’m going climb (literally) higher mountains this year. The higher and harder the peaks the better. All this free land out West to roam and learn from must be what I need. I’m planning, oh about a minute out ahead of myself. Yet, everything’s packed for travel anytime too. And everything I’ve got is loaded.
But I don’t want to travel where I’ve been ever again. (Is that what Saturn retrograding means?) I’d rather take a different beating if I have a choice…my fault though…regardless of what happens…
Saturn=Karma?
Go back down the mountain..I did not even know I was out of the mud and near the slope.
Heck I did not even know I was on a mountain..
LOL
I
someone who’s either stupid or malicious turned on the outdoor hosebib on the side of my business and flooded it. not badly, but enough to stress me out. men with suction hoses and large fans were summoned. I’m tired.
business will go on as usual tomorrow so it’s not so bad.
hey Reality– the mountain came to ME… in the form of MUD. literally, it came downhill to me.
I started reading this and just said, “Awww crap.” Lots of Capricorn here, should be interesting to see how it plays out. Look out, avalanche?
Capricorn Moon: I’m looking forward to the next semester starting. (We go back January 6th). I’m emotionally undone but Saturn is transiting my 9th house (higher education) and thank EFFEN god it is the one thing that brings me pure and unadulterated joy.
kashmiri– thanks, really! that makes me feel warm and fuzzy. now that I’m finally home I’m thinking it could have been worse, seriously. whatever difficult energy manifested this way could have done so in a fashion that would have been more difficult.
Randall - how fitting with the climbing. Just this weekend, my daughter (5) with a Capricorn mid-heaven found that she absolutely loves the climbing wall at our local fitness club. I can think of no better way for her to channel that energy!
I went back to school in november and was planning on taking two courses starting in january, buuuuut I need a new computer (Something put together sometime after 1998 perhaps - seriously, it doesn’t even recognize my usb key, its a glorified and slightly out of date jukebox now) I had the money saved for a computer that’d do the job (hahah how saturn in virgo is that - just enough to work!!) however . . Well. Maybe by the end of january.
Capricorn sun, mercury, (both square saturn), and Capricorn mars. Virgo moon still in touch with the saturn transit as well.
Hmmm… Jupiter (6th house) and Saturn (7th house) in Capricorn. I’m curious the effects of Saturn turning retrograde?
…and capricorns only have two legs to climb with (i just don’t get them… a sea-goat?)
we all have saturns to complain about ;P
boy do i know it :/
