Regarding Dracula, I discussed his chart with my sister at the time. This would be about 15 years ago, she’s also an astrologer.

She likes Scorpios and points out she has married two of them however she does not like the Scorpios that I like. That is I routinely run with Scorpio Moons(she loathes) or alternately large stelliums in Scorpio (she thinks the Sun is plenty).

Dracula had a large in stellium in Scorpio and Pluto conjunct his Leo rising. This is enough to make my sister gag and me laugh. (swearing below the break)

“Yes.”

She’s roared. “Oooh, I bet that Scorp is pissed.”

“What?” I said. I often play dumb with my sister to extract more info. In other cases I am dumb and I frequently don’t know which is happening in the moment.

“Are you kidding me? Don’t you think he’d like to be born on Halloween?” She laughed and I heard her take a drag from her cig. “Yeah, I bet he’d mad as hell. I wonder if he lies about it? Says he was born on Halloween.”

I thought a nanosecond. “He might. Yeah, he might lie.”

“I bet he does but he’s not lying now. No, he’s got to tell us the real date and time,” she said.

“Why?”

“He wants to know if we know anything. He’ll flip right out when he finds out we do.”

“You think?”

“Of course. He’ll act otherwise but yeah. He doesn’t think we know anything so won’t he be surprised. He’s a Leo rising, right?”

“Yes. How did you know that?”

She laughed. “Every Scorpio you date is a Leo rising! There have been about 10 of them in a row now,” she said with a snort. “What the fuck else would his rising be?”

“Oh.”

“Yeah, you like these fuckers, you sure do. You. Like. These. Intense. Motherfuckers. I like them too as long as I don’t have to be in a room with them. I like to dissect them that is,” she said with a Gemini lilt in her voice.

“You really wouldn’t want to be in a room with him? Are you serious?”

“Fuckin’ A, no! Hell fuckin’ no, no fuckin’ way. If I even think there is someone like this in the building I leave. Even if the building is a mall I will leave if I get a whiff of the kind of people you run with.”

“You’d leave the mall?” I asked innocently. “But you like the mall,” I said.

“Shut up, Elsa. Just shut the fuck up and read me his planets.”

I heard her tell her husband I was fuckin’ with her and smirked. “You ready?”

“Got a blank chart right here. Which house is the Sun in?”

“Third.”

“Oh, well then he does lie.”

“Well yeah, I told you that. I am sure he tells people he was born on Halloween for starters.”

“Well yeah. Anyone who plays Dracula would.”

“Do you want the next planet or do you want to make more remarks?”

She laughed. “Give me the planets.”

“Well there are a whole bunch in Scorpio, they all go in the 3rd house.”

“Big surprise. Big, big, big surprise. Well at least he won’t bore you, he’s got that going for him - Now give ‘em to me and I need degrees. DE-GREEEEES, Elsa.”
