Got into a discussion re: the soldier’s nicknames. I went into this extensively and then maureen asked:

Hey Elsa, does he know that we know him as the Soldier?

Yes he does. He thinks he’s a character though. He doesn’t think anyone here knows him and/or actually likes him. He thinks they like the character, “the soldier” and I really have no idea if this is the case. But yeah he knows although he doesn’t read my blog at all anymore.

Occasionally someone contacts him about something I’ve said and his response is, “So?” He did go on a rant once after a slew of people bothered him, it sounded something like this:

“I don’t care what she writes on that thing! If she wants to write that the Moon is made of cheese then by God, she’s going to write it! She’s my woman and I don’t care what she does, says, writes or any other damned thing! She can do what she wants, anything she wants. Astrology, Pastrology, anything she wants to write she can write and anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell and kiss my ass. Yeah. They can kiss my ass or if they’d like to have their ass kicked, I’ll do that too but my woman is going to be able to do what she wants and that’s all there is to it!”

He has also told a few people, “If you want to know what I’m doing read her blog. It’s right there, it’s available. She’ll tell you way more than I ever will so I don’t know why you’re worried. There is a blog there so why don’t you read the damned thing? If you want to know something you better go to her because I’m not going to tell you shit. Since when I have ever told anyone anything?”

Followed by, “Jeez, P, you put everything on there anyone could possibly want to know, I’ve just no idea why they have to bother me. You don’t see me bothering people, do you?”

“Never. I have never seen you bother anyone in your life… you don’t waste people’s time either.”

“Well they sure as hell waste mine. Like by calling me up to complain about your blog. Don’t people have better things to do? You’d think people could come up with something to do besides call me up to complain. P, I am telling you people are insane. It’s not just you that is insane, there are others.”
