Tonight - Oh Crap, There’s No Testosterone!

Astrology in real life

testosteronestructure.jpgThe Moon is heading into square aspect with Pluto and there is a void (Pluto) in the house (Moon). Vid and Clucky are gone for the weekend, the soldier hit the road today so that means it’s just me and Dora.

It also means this house is completely and utterly void of testosterone when it’s usually so full to the brim and the impact is extreme. I feel like the beach when the tide rolls out. You think it’ll be okay. Intellectually I could tell you all the reasons why this is okay but emotionally it’s very harsh even though I’ve had plenty of warning.

I have a lot of compassion tonight for women who have lost their men for whatever reason. It’s no secret I think women are to blame for the loss of their relationships more often then they care to admit but feeling this tonight… a house with no testosterone, it really seems like a situation to be avoided!

Now I know not all women agree with me. I know there are women who don’t like men that much but some of you do. And that’s why this class.

It was my friend satori who told me some months ago she would like me to write a book about how to get and keep a man. She told me she’d learned a lot from me and I could see it.

graduation-down.jpgThe soldier has made what sounds like a very quaint observation in these times. But he feels or he has observed that women are generally happier / happiest when they are in a relationship with a man that they love. He also points out that when they leave their relationships they often fare worse, not better and I have seen this all my life. It’s like a graduation down not up.

Now I know there are exceptions and blah blah but I think you know what mean because I think you’ve seen it too. And there is a song playin’ in my head tonight, it just won’t stop. It does not apply in my situation but it plays anyway which sort of amuses me. Because the core song the soldier associated with me for 3 decades was, “Band of Gold” and it also had nothing to do with us.

But this song comes to mind because the guy singing it has man singing it makes the same mistake again and again with lonely result..

“While my heart keeps beating
I keep on repeating
The same mistakes that I made before
The ones that made love walk out the door
I got a sack full of those
That I’ll keep diggin’ into
A lonesome road with a cold wind blowin’
The path I chose, take it from a fool who knows…”

And I feel like him right now. I feel like love just walked out the door even though it didn’t (Venus Neptune). And I feel bad for anyone missing anyone tonight. Here’s the song:

Aside from me and one of my 3 dogs, there is nothing BUT testosterone in my house.

Ha ha, Marianne that made me laugh!
I grew up with 4 women (+ female dog) and my dad who is a Man. I empathize with being overloaded by the presence of one gender vibe/testosterone/estrogen/et al).

Tonight I bbbbbbblasted “American Patrol” and the rest of James Last’s Trumpets a gogo. Soooooo fun! My partner loves it. Its been a while since we did the apartment dance.

I have State controlled heating (ie. the landlord turns it on, bleh) and since he likes to “forget” and makes the excuse he wasn’t home, he “forgot” I got sick of feeling cold.
Cranked the trumpets til the 18,000,000 decible “OH I GUESS HE’S NOT HOME CAUSE IT’S FECKING FREEZING!” and danced my heart out with my lover.

So, no testosterone but there’s trumpets, does that count?

Elsa P my comment got eaten! I hope you and Dora are having fun together…does she just stand around and look at you when the fellers are away? Or does she trot around and look confused, ha ha

kash, she’s not worried about it - thinks it’s girl’s night in. You know, fuck them! Break out the crackers and the cream cheese! :)

You could draw a bubble bath and light candles and put on flute music…lol

(I’ve learned a lot in 30 years of reading women’s magazines. It all boils down to that!)

yay crackers and cheese!

These last few days are really feeling like a New Years’ sort of time I find. I love new beginnings and Pluto represents rebirth as well as death doesn’t it?

Hm. Well, that certainly explains why I was missing my ex so much last night.
So I went out drinking with my mom and some of her friends and sang karaoke. :D

….”generally happier in a relationship with a man that they love…” Elsa, you aren’t meaning to leave out lesbians are you? Relationships are relationships for the purpose of the blog and the class???

Loonsounds, no of course not. But that is his voice not mine and if I amended it, it would not be his voice but a dome fake thing that lacks integrity and I don’t have that around here.

I should not have quoted his statement when actually I was more concerned with the part of this post that was your voice:

“Now I know not all woman agree with you. I know there are some women who don’t like men that much but some of you do and heres why this class.”

i hate not having testosterone around me at all times! i work with all women and i swear it’s so annoying to not have guys around. i mean, sometimes it’s comfortable to be able to talk about your period or bring you kids to work cause everyone understands the double-life of mom/professional but after a while i just want a man to come in and have us all fighting over his attention.

i’m one of those women who is always in denial of needing a man at all times- “whatever, i don’t need a man to make me feel good about myself. i’m good-looking, smart, independent, and capable!” BULLSHIT, is what i say to that when i’m being honest with myself. if i don’t have constant male attention then i feel like a failure as a young woman and it fucking sucks. so there…

“i just want a man to come in and have us all fighting over his attention” Ha ha ha! That is soooo funny! I can relate…I attribute this to the boredom i feel that comes with the saturation of the presence of only one gender…

I have Venus conjunct Mars in Aries and am really, really fond of both genders in equal measure (though I find men easier to poke fun at…sorry, dudes I love you but you’re funny creatures, funnier to me than women but only because I’m a lady… with a Moon in Capricorn and must maintain mah dig-ni-tay).

As silly as it sounds, I don’t like working with so many women because I don’t feel nurtured. I feel judged and pressured to eat salad.
