How About A Bawdy Seat Of My Pants Astrology Class?

Some years ago I taught an an online astrology class and sometimes think about doing this again. This morning (Jupiter Uranus) I got a strong urge out of the blue sky… I am interested in teaching (Jupiter) astrology (Uranus) but I want to do it in my own bawdy (Jupiter) rule breaking (Uranus) way.
The class would be about my favorite topic - relationships. How to get a man/woman… how to keep them. how to stand them once you have them….. what in your chart is creating all the challenge and what you can do about it, etc. etc.
Based on my experience last time, people who signed up for the class would have the option of offering their chart for dissection or alternately they could sit in the rafters. I would guarantee you’d learn a lot of astrology and just a lot in general plus be entertained. But I would want to issue a warning up front - I want clearance to be rude because frankly this is when I am at my best. I want the old style, Elsa P which I think I can get away with in a small group.
What do you think?? Who wants to play? Anyone? I just feel like getting my knife out and showing y’all some tricks…

Everything about it would be fun and expanded per that 9th house Mars Mercury. You know. Jupiter! Generous and over the top. Daring!

Astrology is most fun for me when it is the way my sister and I would talk and think about it. She’s got Moon Jupiter in Sadge and both of us will just tell you.
We’re not mean but we are OVERT and it’s very effective for learning because the phrases we use stay with you. They also prove to be correct over time because fact is we know what we’re talking about.
I just want to be myself. I used to turn cartwheels through the desert to the mailbox about 3 blocks away. I don’t like to do things normally - I want to do things the Judge Roy Bean way… that is MY WAY. But I have an innate sense of fairness (Libra) and a strong drive to give and deliver the goods so based on this I can pretty much guarantee satisfaction to the customer provided they understand going in that a knife will be used… not with malice but with skill.
I’m interested. Slice and dice away.

Actually the first thought that crossed my mind was how many people would I have to get together to split the cost of return flights and hotel for Elsa. But as this is a relatively new area of interest for me I have not developed relationships where Astrology is a common interest, so my second thought was travelling down to where the Elsa’s bawdy Astrology class was being held.

-fuck no the soldier will not participate.. well maybe. He does have opinions about how women are with men so yeah. Maybe I will ask his opinion and offer some choice bits.
Also, at some point I may go on the road with the soldier and if that happens, I cam going to take a camera and film… broadcast from all over bumfuck and if that happens, yes he may talk (off camera) in his twang.
I have given up on romantic relationships for myself but I would probably love to join the class anyway in order to get a better understanding of other relationships in my life that are not of the romantic variety. Like the one with my mother being the biggest karmic relationship in my life (or one of) and using that for study, my problematic relationship with my sister also. And maybe my ex-husband of 16 years too.
And Elsa, you’d do great with this, I do know that you are trustworthy, I do know that you deliver what you promise, I am totally certain that you are in the astrology for the love of the field and not money (sorry for the understatement) and so your prices would be reasonable, I know it would fun, and always entertaining.
Another thought, I wonder if some of us might be able to put up our charts in terms with how we react with one another person on the blog or something. I would find that illuminating. There are lots of regulars here. I mean, we rarely interact directly with each other but that might be fun. Say like, there are certain people that I always enjoy their writing and I think we would be compible by chart, maybe stuff like that could play into the class and be fun to look into charts.
All I know is there is nothing I like more than some bawdy Jupiter/Uranus thing since I have Jupiter tightly (one degree) conjunct uranus in cancer in the 5th house (fun! creativity!) with Jupiter ruling my first 9th and 10 house and Uranus ruling my 12th house which (in my opinion, in my chart) is linked to spirituality for the most part (and my love for working in psychiatric hospitals and prison systems as a social worker).
Long as people could tolerate me using the mother as an example of a relationship as I am sure that does get quite old to listen to.
I’d be interested and I’d probably get my husband to be interested as well.

Maybe my chart could be an interesting prospect, since I am entering my Saturn return in LIBRA.

Wow, Elsa, I would love this for so many reasons:
1) I want to keep learning astrology, but lack the drive to do it solo (and that shows up in my chart too) 2) cripes, I could use some of your mogo when it comes to reeeelaaationshipppps 3) I groove off the idea of learning not just from you, but from others…how cool! and 4) online communities can be used for such good…so the time is now, it’s right, I feel it.

Would it be in real time, or would I be able to participate even I wasn’t available during the times it was held? I can’t wait for details.

No, not real time… it will be ’round the clock. The current idea is to have a blog set up… anyone paying for the class will be able to access.
Everyone in the class will be able to comment, ask questions, answer other people’s questions, discuss, laugh, talk and chat, etc. I will want it to be a free-for-all as much as possible.
I will commit to a certain number of charts chosen from the class. The criteria of who gets chosen will be strictly on how to provide the widest variety. I would want to avoid repetition.
For example you will not want to read me saying, “Yet another commitment-phobic..” as that would be a bore.
There would be astrology of course but also an overall philosophy around how to be happy and make the most of whatever you have.
It will be geared to EVERYONE regardless of their level of astrological expertise. By that I mean, the chart will be there and we can read it, but I plan to communicate in plain (blunt) language that is easily applied if (when) you recognize yourself. I mean, you know if I am talking about you or something you do whether you can read a chart or not yes?
I was just thinking about a class I took here in town and how I wish there was another class somewhere I could take. Here is is!!! I would definitely be interested. No worries about the profanity I am part sailor,lol.

I was there at the last one too and highly recommmend it to anyone….matter of fact I printed it out and have it saved in my huge stack of important papers and such. It’s nice to see a few of us around. It was a blast and I would definitely do it again!! I love the road idea…Willie and Nick and Bob and Taj in the background. You could just sell the soundtrack and make a mint.
Elsa, I have a question. How did you learn astrology? It’s not like you can sign up for classes at your local community college or something. I tried a correspondence course about 10 years ago, but it became immediately apparent that it wasn’t for me - I need to be in a classroom environment with a teacher so I can see how it’s done. I’m just no good at teaching myself. I’m curious how you did it.

Working behind the scenes on this. Have write a class description… make an easy way to pay, various other details so things go smoothly. I am hoping to get this together within a couple days… people can sign through the week and then start the following Monday? That’s a target.

I sent you my birth information recently, after reading Astrology Explored, and you replied. I’ve been following your writings since then, whenever I’m not completely swamped. I wouldn’t mind having a few knives taken to my chart. I’m a novice at this, but want to learn.
