I mean to be consistent writing these forecasts but sometimes I don’t know what to make of the sky out there. Other times I do know what to make of the sky but it’s just too daunting or laborious to try to get my mind to focus and send the words to my fingers. This could be considered one of the upsides of being an unpaid worker… I don’t actually have to be here.

In whatever case this has turned into one hell of an intense day. There is a new Moon in Scorpio, most of you know. Venus in Sagittarius forms a T-Square with Saturn and Uranus and I don’t know anyone who is not on rack in one form or the other so I offer your these lyrics by mega Scorpio, Doug of Doug and the Slugs (deceased) who seemed to have a very good handle on how to deal with days like today:

“Oh where’s your sense of humour gone?
Big deal, you’re back against that wall.
It’s never over, when you can savour,

There have been a lot of interesting, thoughtful, passionate comments on the Robert Hanssen piece and I am glad of it. I feel very strongly about things like this and I feel so out of sync. I think what Pluto though Sagittarius has shown (among other things) is the press is crap.

“Truth” (Sagittarius) is manipulated (Pluto). People publish (Sagittarius) to gain power (Pluto). People’s beliefs (Sagittarius) are manipulated (Pluto) by what is published (Sagittarius) and if you don’t know this by now - Well you should. Oprah tricked by James Frey who wrote a book that would sell and who here is clean, hmm?

“I don’t know what to think of it,” he said. “I don’t know why they’d be interested, no one has ever really liked me but you.”

I shrugged and looked at him. I am pretty sure the look on my face wanted to hold him responsible for this.

On the Saturn Neptune body front, I saw my surgeon today, turns out I had 3 hernias! You’d think this would give me some credibility however it has not. I am pretty sure she thinks I am unstable as I was unstable on that Percocet.

Thing is when they give you and Rx for a narcotic and you ask for another Rx for a narcotic, you are immediately suspect especially if you’re me, with Neptune in Scorpio spinning on my head (midheaven) - Obviously I am up to no good.

Regarding the blond ponytail lady, I hope this isn’t misinterpreted but!

But the soldier and I have been watching The World at War over the last weeks.

As most of you know he’s a war history buff and he considers this the best war documentary ever made. It was made in the seventies and could not be made now as many of the people interviewed (Holocaust survivors for example) are dead.

It was also made before “spin” and “political correctness” became so prevalent. Back when documentaries were made to inform and actually document history rather than something fashioned to entertain or advance a political agenda and while it is long (11 dvds) it is inordinately interesting.

With Mercury conjunct the Moon in Libra, both trine Neptune in Aquarius, all communication is sensitized but in a way that is favorable. People having conversations in pairs or with partners will find it easy to see the others point of view which is a great relief in the current climate.

Saturn and Uranus remain polarized but you’ve a good chance to escape all that today. Venus is also moving to form a T-square with these two and no one is going to like that much so you know what they say: “Make hay when the sun shines”.

I have a piece coming on a war documentary the soldier and I are watching and this post is related. The documentary we are watching sticks to actual facts and allows the viewer to draw their own conclusions. Compare that to the freakish piece of film making that is ‘Breach which left the soldier and I both absolutely bewildered.

Breach is a “based on a true story” movie of Robert Hanssen, the FBI man tagged “the worst spy in US history”. He is now in prison for life and spends 23 hours a day in solitary confinement for reasons I have not been able to discover though I’d like to.

The other day I disagreed with something someone said and they came back quickly, “Well, that’s because you’re uniformed.”

A day later someone else told me I didn’t know “shit from shinola” when I disagreed with them.

I ended both these conversations quickly and I realize these people sound hideous however they are not hideous so it just goes to show what can suddenly (Uranus) be come out of your mouth (Virgo) if you are not careful (Saturn).

Personally I am trying to avoid brilliant, progressive, ahead of their time, humanitarians (Uranus).

I am also trying to avoid people who oppress via criticism (Saturn in Virgo)… and so often they are the same person.

You really have to stay vigilant to not fall prey to this one. Find something positive to do with the energy…
