It’s true and don’t think I didn’t think about that because I did! This would definitely be demanding. I would be making someone a private movie however I have to do something because I really can’t write all day and the monologue has real application.

I have clients who are regular and we trade off - email / phone. Regulars just track my time (they track it, I’m a Saturn Neptune) whether it be by phone of mail and they pay when logical…. when we come to the conclusion of a particular question or knot.

When I say I’m flexible, I’m not kidding, see. I aim to take care of the client so a portion of my business is done in 5 minute emails which is very effective for the client and pleasurable for me.

Point is sometimes they send me something and I can just tell I will writing all day to address if but if I get them on the phone it will be toot sweet so I just tell them: “Want me to write for 30 minutes, or talk for 5?” At that point we get on the phone for a few minutes before falling back into pattern.

Other times they want to talk to me. I think I ground people is why so when at times it comes in in the other direction. “Got 10 minutes?” Sometimes people just want to touch base, get a reality check or simply be reinforced…

I like to work this way, I would. It suits me and I am telling you the email consults take a lot care and editing. There is considerable time spent trying to get it right. You have to find balance between quantity and clarity while maintaining a level of potency and it’s trickier than you’d think if you are someone who is wants to work to my standard. Not that it’s not worth it because it is. It is totally worth it to get something right and be effective but the video idea adds another option and I am just positive it is going to have application.

All in all this is a Saturn in Virgo issue (and solution). Time is money to most everyone these days so I am looking a variety of ways to be effective. For those who read here and have never had a consultation, I bet this is interesting. You didn’t know I was firing off mails to clients while responding to your comments on the blog but it is exactly what I do.

I call it “hot shot” like those fire fighters who go in and put out fires when they spring up in various states during fire season. They go in, put out the fire and they are out of there. It’s another manifestation of Mars conjunct Mercury of course. Clients get in a tight spot and email me. You’d would be surprised what I can do with this mind / voice / typing fingers in 5 minutes times. Alleviate suffering usually and if not at least make it mean something.

Anyway, blah, blah and welcome to my thoughts behind the scenes. As for what this has to do with you, well I think the economy is tight and I will not be the only one who is going to have to innovate.

Er… “Necessity is the mother of invention.” It’s hard to argue against that.
