The Astrology Of Surgery: Damned If I Know
Astrology in real life
Regarding my surgery (it’s tomorrow) I would like to comprehend it but I don’t. I looked up the metaphysical cause of hernias and it says “ruptured relationships” and while I’ve reported several times that I’ve lost virtually all my friends, this does not resonate with me.
I thought about the literal meaning of a hernia - I am in fact spilling my guts. Everyone knows I do plenty of that but again when I consider this, I have no emotional hit which makes the whole thing meaningless as far as I am concerned.
The chart tomorrow has Mars in Scorpio conjunct my natal Neptune on the midheaven and I do not the cutting (Mars) is public (Midheaven) but outside of that I am just really confused. The soldier expects “disaster” but he though I had cancer, so you know… I just don’t put a lot of stock in that.
I also thought about my Pluto Moon transit because it’s surgery on my stomach (moon) or thereabouts but this is also a misfit. I mean, I have been to the depths of hell with the Pluto Moon so if this is supposed to be that, I would have to say, “In like a lion, out like a lamb.”
In my reality (which we all know can be distorted), I am going to be sick and sore tomorrow but of good cheer and probably wanting to screw by the time the evening rolls around.
This is in contrast to what the soldier thinks. He’s got some sandbags filled in case he needs them. He filled them for other reasons but you know. They are here so no one has to worry about him if P goes on a rampage.
In whatever case, I’ll be around here when and as I can. Or perhaps I’ll have him post for me… ::evil grin::

Good luck tomorrow! Get well soon ![]()
Good luck tomorrow, and I will make a special effort to comment intelligibly if the Soldier posts for you. ![]()
Dont worry about that Louise Hayes stuff Elsa. If there is a need to spill ones guts then its ok to do that isnt it?
Neptune is the great dissolver. He can be dissociative or derealizingly invisible. It just means that you will be going under with pre ops etc. Getting some treatment in fact.

I’ll be sending good thoughts your way Elsa!
Anything going on with your Saturn? Because you’re restoring a boundary that’s been breached (abdominal wall).
Good luck, Elsa! Hope you feel back to 100% in no time.
good luck and tons of music (to pass the moment). I hope you come back with tons of new ideas
Take to the lizard mode, never hear of them having trouble involving hernia operations. Best of luck to you!
Good luck! Tell everyone not to make you laugh so much for a while. ![]()
Yeah, Dan, that lizard thing, I have another one for you.
In the surgeon’s office they tested my oxygen. Don’t know that I’ve ever had it done.
“What is that?” I asked.
She explained. “We like it to be at least 94%” she said, clipping the thing onto my fingertip.
I stared at it. She pulled it off “100%” she said looking surprised. “I’ve never seen that before.”
“Seen what?”
“Seen 100%.”
My blood pressure was 90/50 - whatever… ![]()
Good luck on your surgery and the recovery Elsa.
<3 we´ll miss you.
Very Good! Apparently they have never dealt with a fully oxgenated and extreme cardio-vascular conditioned lizard before.
They always think they know it all!
Good luck tomorrow! Hope your recovery is quick and fully stocked w/ pain killers ![]()
Good luck, good surgery, all good things. My prayers are with you Elsa P. I hope the soldier buys you the right food because he is right, this surgey is going to make you hungry and grumpy. BUY THE RIGHT FOOD. Yum…I say Gnocchi and some turkey burger. That is my comfort food. Don’t listen to me….
good luck!
Best of luck with the surgery.
When I was a baby, my mom had a hernia repaired during an exploratory surgery to find out why she was in pain. They almost didn’t find it. Neptune and Saturn were in conjunction. — Her hernia could have been from packing me around, a fat Taurus rising baby.
I recommend ice cream and chocolate.
Yeah, I gave birth to Taurus. Huge, 3 weeks later and his foot jammed in my ribs. My first was born 3 weeks early, light as a feather Gemini. What a shock! They gave me Vidroid and he looked like a damned teenager. He was only a baby for a day or two. Sun Saturn and all.
I was months & months early. Am Libra, was supposed to be Pisces - weighed 2lbs 2oz. Mars on the Asc (& conjuncts my mom’s Sun). Impatient I guess haha.
Drink lots of water when you get home to get rid of the anesthetic.
haha that reminds me. I know someone who had surgery & woke up with a lollipop in her mouth, taped to her face. (She was telling dirty jokes as she was coming out of it.)
Good luck Elsa! I’m sending you some good vibes, for you and the Soldier too.
An aside: I started Pluto in my 12th House with a surgery for a leg/muscle issue that I had a NEGATIVE diagnosis for. It was %125 successful.
Maybe it’s just a weird way to start Pluto’s transit in the 12th!
You come across as having an inordinately strong constitution…I’m sure you’ll heal nicely with an outlook as sound as yours.
Elsa,
lots of good/positive vibes and thoughts going your way!!!!!
be well soon!!!
Good luck, Elsa!
Best of luck with the surgery!

When you first mentioned your hernia, the first thing I thought of was heavy lifting - maybe when you were out helping the soldier in his truck? Anyway, whatever the cause, good luck with your operation.
