Another Manifestion of Saturn Opposing Uranus: Shockingly Cold

worms-under-rock.jpg I was talking to a pal today about the conundrum we all face with Sun and Mercury in Libra while Venus and Mars are in Scorpio. It’s just so hard to be pleasant with all the worms crawlin’ on the underside but on other fronts it occurred to me another manifestation of the Saturn opposing Uranus was the what I am starting to see out there - surprising (Uranus) coldness, sternness, rejection (Saturn).

I know there are people (a lot of them) who think they stand on one side of this opposition but I believe this impossible. Just watch as the people you believe to be compassionate (yourself included) become miserly.

I think this is an inordinately bad time to point fingers because you are highly likely (damned near guaranteed) to wind up on the other side of the equation and when it happens it will happen in a blink.

Who can relate?

I am feeling this all over the place. I think it’s part of the reason I’m so clammed up lately. I’m not sure what to do with the energy and I don’t wanna fling it around carelessly, ya know?

Zeeks Elsa!

Never thought of it this way on such a personal level but you’re so right - lately i’ve been experiencing more ‘cold’ comments than usual on my various blogs so perhaps with the Saturn-Uranus opposition on the 1/7 axis (natally) enemies are creeping into the open, which is good i say, because release of pressure is a helpful thing when not overdone.

gosh, yes, have you read the comments on your post about people feeling sorry for others? so many ice cold responses! seems like lots of people are angry about the sympathy they didn’t get. i think at least half of the people said they only feel sorry for orphans and widows and the like…

I can relate. I keep reminding myself that worms are a good source of protein in some cultures. “slimy, yet satisfying.”

Scarey stuff Elsa, in the popularity stakes at least. Musical chairs would be more fun. I guess some will want to pre pay or blackmail others for that chair. The options are to “go with it”; it is a real experience indeed.

I can’t say I’ve seen more of it lately, but I’m intimate with the dichotomy. Since hubby’s a nurse, I’m exposed to a lot of people who believe themselves the epitome of compassion yet are thoughtlessly cruel throughout the day. It’s mind-boggling.

I’m glad you pointed this out, because I can’t fill in those blanks yet. But now I’ll be on the lookout for it in those I wouldn’t normally suspect.

Eh. I say breathe and serve and don’t contribute to fear/disaster thinking. Well, I say that - not to anyone in particular, but can I do it? :)

hm. i’m feeling pressure on my saturn/uranus square. moreso than normal. but i have practice dealing with it. which helps a little.

still, i think some things are on their way to shattering (uranus) permanently (saturn…)

I truly know me now! I’m a total and complete sensitive bitch. That’s why people can’t stand me. I don’t bow down when they think I would. I seem scared but my nerves are just that damn bad. If I’m scared of anything it’s what I might to do somebody; me? I can harbor pain.

Okay see what I’m talking about. One minute I’m uranus and the next i’m saturn. That was just what I was feeling sorry to unleash it on this board.
