I love the concept of the Amazon wish list and I do maintain one as I’ve mentioned a few times. Historically my wish list has been a big deal even though I barely use it. For some reason whenever it comes up the impact is marked and tonight was no exception.

The soldier was on Amazon getting a book for his son. “I think I’ll update my wish list,” he said.

I walked towards him to scan it. “Get away from here, P,’ he said and I know why. It’s because he knows I will buy stuff off it unless he expressly tells me not to.

“I can’t see it?”

“You can see it.”

I glanced at the list with it’s one item and laughed. “Yours looks like mine. There is nothing on it. Everything on my list is for someone else,” I said. As soon as I said this I realized I had bought the people the things on the list I was hoping would be bought for me so I could give them away. “Matter of fact, I better go delete the stuff because I got you guys the stuff I had on it.”

I hurried off to the other computer to delete and sure enough, I had two things on the list neither of them were for me and I just can’t help this. I just don’t want anything that much. Well, I do but at a rate that is ridiculous. I want something about every 2 years or so which is patently ridiculous but what can I do?

It’s not that I don’t know what it’s like to covet something because I do. But it only happens in a blue Moon and this is all because of Henry.

The last thing I really wanted was the Astro Dispatch and I got it.

I wonder if I am broken but I don’t think I am. I think I’m just Elsa P - something that happened.
