Elsa P! Continually Crushed By The Astrology News! UPDATE

Users of the Astro News may be wondering why the feeds are flooding in all at once the short answer is: I don’t know. It appears to be the feeds of the people using blogspot which have never worked on this system which is why I have been adding posts from blogspot bloggers manually.

We have not fixed this because effort and energy has gone into building a new and PERMANENT replacement for te Top 10 which is 90% done, looks great and is up and running as of yesterday.

I have to load all the feeds though which I hope to do today and then I will come on here, announce the new location and beg people to change their links for the last and final time and hopefully we’ll all look back in 5 years and say this wasn’t so bad though at the moment… ::rolls eyes::

UPDATE - The blogspot feeds continue to flood in and there is nothing I can do to stop them, sorry! I have not made progress on the new site because I am waiting for instructions on how to load the feeds… hoping this will get done tonight!

I see now that the flooded in posts link to the comment box NOT the post. Gah. Rather than try to figure this out, I am going to abandon ship and invest in something solid for a change… imagine that.

Matthew, if you have any ideas, lemme know! I recently created a new blog on blogspot for my art work and photography, and I can’t sign in at all now! wtf? And it never emails me notification if someone comments on a post, even though it’s set in my preferences…sigh. Anyway just blathering so I’ll shut it.

Kashmiri, check your e-mail. If you have more than a couple of links to any other blog of yours, one of Blogspot’s famous rampaging bots may have decided your blog is a splog, like it did to me.

I just went on there. I must have tried to create a blog there once, as my email address is “already in use.” Not sure what to do, I guess create a new email, which seems too annoying today. Maybe tomorrow!

Matthew - yeah, Wordpress makes it easy to import it wholesale from blgospot. It’s been a while, but I don’t think there were any problems.

Perhaps you might want to wait till after Mercury goes direct though.

I’ve had a rotten day with IT.
