Saturn In Virgo, Health Scare: No Cancer… And Scorpio / 8th House Intuition Around Death
Astrology in real life
I heard from the doctor and I have a hernia not cancer and boy is it a relief as the soldier has been deeply disturbed for a week an it has unnerved me to no end! It has unnerved me because Scorpio (or the 8th house) often knows when someone is ill, I know I do.
If you’re dying, chances are that I am aware of it and he’s been walking around for days twisted up like a pretzel, looking at me solemnly and refusing to elaborate but also to deny…
“You think I have cancer,” I said about 50 times.
“Now, P, we are waiting to hear from the doctor.”
::shakes head::
Anyway, I have a hernia and will have to have surgery. I don’t think it’s that big a deal but this last week sure has been. Nothing like someone looking at you as if you’re dying and you don’t know it all day! Neptune in Scorpio anyone?
Can you tell when someone is sick?

Yes.
Glad it is “only” a hernia. I know someone who had one fixed laparoscopically (sp?). Very quick recovery.
A lot of the repair mesh has been recalled. :/ Make sure you ask your surgeon a lot of questions & find out what product they are putting in you.
Hooray for no cancer!!!
whoa, my husband thinks he has a hernia and is going for a diagnosis today.
glad it’s not cancer elsa!
That’s great news. Best of luck for the surgery.
I can sometimes tell when people are sick. I sometimes know people are going to die, or have just died. It’s a psychic awareness.
Fifteen years ago, when my mother visited in the spring, I heard that distinctive voice, “If she doesn’t see a doctor soon, she’ll be dead by Christmas.” She complained that day about her belly hurting. I suggested she tell her doctor. She confirmed that she was seeing her doctor in a few weeks. My mother is a fifteen year survivor of colon cancer.
There are other incidences as well. Each time I’m a little less shaken up than the time before hand.
Libra Neptune conjunct Saturn in sixth house, trine a Venus Mars conjunction in the eleventh house. Scorpio on the descendant.
Glad that you know what’s what now and the soldier can relax. Woo hoo!!!!
Very glad to hear things are not as bad as you had feared, Elsa. Hope the whole process goes smoothly for you.
Hey Elsa,
Good news. A hernia can be taken care of with out-patient surgery and done laparoscopically with tiny incisions. I just did a patient education brochure on it. I’ll email you info once it’s reviewed.
What a relief for you and the soldier, especially!
holy moly– how stressful! I’m glad it’s a hernia and not something worse.
Elsa!!!
I am SO glad to hear it is not cancer!!!!!!!
I think I can tell when someone is sick… it’s just with my own health that I have trouble being accurate!!
I hate that for his mother…hope she’ll be well soon. And I’m glad you don’t have cancer.
oh no! i’m sorry to hear his mother isn’t well.
i’m glad you are, at the same time.
i cannot tell when people are physically ill but know when something isn’t right with them emotionally immediately. i get feelings the clearest.
yes, i know when people are sick.
i know when they are or not going to die.
it’s a feeling, a physical feeling, an ache in the heart, body, mind, a crying jag that stops when they die.
I also have dreams which tell me.
scorpio 8th house cusp, pluto in the 5th which sextiles, saturn/neptune in libra in the 7th, mercury, mars and the sun, and trines venus/ascendant.
But no neptune in Scorpio.
I can tell when someone is sick, not injured but sick as they smell different.
Glad to hear your good news, sad to hear about his mother. The wheel turns again, slowly or fast as you perceive it.
These comments have been interesting. I am kind of surprised at all the people who can see illness but no one reporting on death. I have no idea what to make of it… I always know when someone is circling the drain which is why the soldier unnerved me the way he did. I just assumed he knew this stuff too.
I totally can’t tell when someone is sick or dying, unless it’s immediately obvious AND a doctor has told me. I have all the psychic sensitivity of tapioca pudding, as I have remarked in other contexts.
hey now, tapioca can be very sensitive especially when it’s being chomped on.
ROFL. Thanks for the laugh.
Elsa, I don’t know if the lack of discussion of dying is for any other reason that we got sidetracked by the “sick” part of the question. Especially as you are sick and not dying or not even really sick just injured.
I can’t say that I’ve been physically near too many people near their death - I seem to end up out of state. However, I’ve had a number of experiences with pets/animals and usually know within two days of their death that they’re gone/going to go.
This has happened with flying squirrels, dogs, and cats. (I can’t seem to tell with fish) and again, for me, they smell wrong or move wrong or their eyes aren’t as shiny. It seems really obvious to me and I hate it and often struggle with what to say if it’s not my pet.
You know do you say to their human that they’re dying and to say your goodbyes? Do you ask if they’ve been to the vet recently for a checkup?
It feels really awkward.
“You know do you say to their human that they’re dying and to say your goodbyes?”
No but I sure have a hard time pretending someone is not dying when they are pretending they are not dying. I will do it obviously, but I’ll not be comfortable even though I should be comfortable seeing as it is none of my business!
Best wishes for the soldier’s mom. And for you & your family
I’ll bite on this question again.
I do sometimes know when people die. I also have a feeling of dread before massive deaths, like hurricane Katrina, for as much as a week ahead of time. I’d had dreams and visions about 9-11, also.
I knew when my grandfather was going to die, even though it wasn’t from illness, it was a suicide. I was 10 years old.
When a co-worker committed suicide, I got the strangest vision of his death, as from his eyes, in real time.
When my ex-husband died, I knew it. I hadn’t seen or spoken to him for 25 years. I felt the pain in my chest and immediately thought of him. He’d died from a ruptured aorta near the time I had the sensation.
I sometimes dream of people before they die. My mother does the same thing.
I gave my Neptune information earlier. I’ll add that I have Mercury in my 8th house.
What do you say to a dying person? When I saw my sister for the last time, she was in hospice care. I asked her if she was going to come visit me after she died, I expected her. I told her that I suspected she’d had visits from spirits of our family members. She became very animated and told me that our late father had been there. She seemed relieved to know that someone believed her and she could talk about it.
So, maybe this has answered your question.
often.
I’m glad it’s not cancer, E! Most hernias are easy-peasy to fix, too, so I’m also glad it’s nothing too life-altering.
I’ll put the Soldier and his mom on my energy-list for tonight, I hope she feels better soon.
I can’t tell if someone is dying or, in most cases, physically ill. I can tell if someone is in bad mental shape, how bad off they are, and usually what they need to get back into equilibrium. That’s one of the reasons I went back to school to get a psych degree!
My sister can tell if someone’s going to die, usually to within a few days, and also if someone she doesn’t even know about is going to pass (like she’ll be talking to someone and “know” that person’s grandparent is going to die soon). My mom can also do this to an extent, but not as well as my sister — I think she’s likely the most talented of us all in that arena.
That’s interesting SaD, I have the same experience with people and their emotions.
I studied reiki for many reasons, but when I began practicing I was shocked to realize that I was psychically “tuned in” to people and I actually stopped practicing.
I needed to assimilate that side if myself and take full responsibility, because it requires a lot of responsibility and care, I believe.
This was also during my SR in Leo and so was experiencing both Pluto and Saturn transiting my 12th House Neptune!
I’m not quite there yet (I have some more ‘me’ time/work to have and do) but I see this kind of body work in my future.
Elsa - did you try to pick the soldier up? wink wink, nudge nudge. Is that how you got injured?
Sorry- the image popped into my head and I just couldn’t stop laughing.
Once i visited a friend at her job (behind the counter at a bakery) and i had this strong feeling that she looked sick, really sick. I couldn’t smell her but it was though it was a smell surrounding her, something just… not well at all. And it almost seemed as though there were dark/black around, as though her aura were black — not that i think i can see auras… it turned out that she was fine, but her mother had died that day–
