Living With A Psychic… Body Language And Pissing Off His Scorpio Moon

There are two things I know a lot about which they do not teach you in Special Forces: Astrology and body language. As most of you know the soldier is inordinately psychic and he uses a device to enhance his ability.
He lost one of these things when we visited the desert (left it in the hotel room) which was tragic because he’s had that particular piece for more about 15 years and if left him with just his one spare which he misplaced Friday night.
The spare did not turn up overnight so yesterday he had no choice but to go buy a new thing because he can’t go long without accessing this other world. He had some concern because they are simply not making the object he likes to use the way they used to (they use a different material) but sure enough he did find a new device and I am telling you he has been happy as shit since.
Now according to him, each device is a little different and this one must be kicking ass because every time I walk in the room when he’s got it, he is smiling ear to ear. I was going to write about this. About how it is somewhat unnerving to live with a psychic. I’d know because my sister was also inordinatly psychic so I grew up with this but anyway… in the soldier’s case the big grin is as likely caused by his discovery of a new “piece of math” as it is something threatening so I contain my curiousity and don’t probe him around what he is seeing or finding out, 95% of the time. 5% of the time, I can’t resist.
Anyway he liked the living shit out of this new thing and I just walked into the living room, he was sitting on the couch with it. He immediately turned his wrists in.. he was clearly shielding it from me and I blurted… “Boy you do like that thing. Look at you trying to keep it to yourself,” I said. “Look at your hands, you are protecting that thing.”
He started guiltily.
“Hey, I am sorry but your body language - it’s pronounced.”
“My body speaks Spanish!” he snapped.
I just laughed and got the hell out of there.
Anyone live with a psychic? Do you ever feel intimidated?

Yes and no.
My whole family is psychic. My mom likes to announce that she’s the most psychic, but I think my sister is the one with the biggest talent. My dad doesn’t like to talk about it so I don’t know the extent of his ability.
I grew up in a haunted house and all of us had experiences there, plus my mom, my sister, my husband, and I have all had prophetic dreams.
I’m curious about the Soldier’s device — I’ve never heard of such a thing! All the times you’ve talked about his antenna I thought you were speaking metaphorically.
What the heck kind of device does he use to enhance his psychic ability? I’m curious.
I’m the psychic in my crowd. It has definitely affected relationships in the past. My current man always asks me how I know things. You’d think he would know by now that I never know how or why I know what I know. I just know it.

Yeah I usually just respond with a raised eyebrow and a smirk these days.

Spinner, I can’t seem to help myself. I have an innate talent for smirking. I get in more trouble that way.
I am the psychic in the group too (12th house moon trine Mercury/Pluto, opposite Neptune), and my boyfriend cannot get comfortable with it because he’s got Scorpio rising and prefers to be ultra-private. It took me 32 years to grow into acceptance of this “attribute” and I haven’t yet got to the point where I wouldn’t give it back. It’s exhausting to receive other people’s energy all the time. And spinner/Lupa, it IS exhausting to explain or justify how you know things. Word.
