Open Question: Pluto In Capricorn… How Will Capricorns Feel?

Ask the collective

capricornJilly asks on Speaking of Failed Banks…

“I wonder if Cap Risings will feel more secure or less secure? I mean internally. Not about outside circumstances.”

Jilly, that’s a good question and I assume it’s (sort of) addressed to me since I am a Cap rising. But it’s an excellent question in general so I’ll take a stab at it and maybe others will weigh in.

I feel very secure. With an emphasis on Capricorn, I’d say that I am pretty much constantly afraid of something but hard times? Forget about it - I’ve never had anything but and I am old.

Consequently I feel spectacularly equipped to cope and pretty much expect to emerge as a leader one way or the other simply because I am so adept at dealing with this kind of energy and these type scenarios.

I feel like for the first time in my life I’d be one of the first chosen to be on the team (and if you didn’t choose me, your mistake).

Bottom line, I feel empowered.

How do the rest of you Capricorn (Sun, Moon, Risings) feel about the circumstances as Pluto heads into your sign?

1 Minute Astrology: My Bank Failed (To Little Reaction) And The Story Of My First Divorce

5 minute astrology

I made this video in September of 2007 after my bank failed. It seems relevant again now. Venus Neptune perspective on money…

As a footnote to this story, this guy also tried to buy my dogs and a stack of stuff sitting outside by the front door, waiting for Goodwill pick up. I kept my dogs and gave him the donations. ;-)

What are you predominant feelings about money?

Open Question: Astrology And Halloween: What Will You Dress As?

Ask the collective

Frankenstein and brideThe soldier is going to be Frankenstein for Halloween and I will be Bride Of Frankenstein, his idea. I figure we’ll be natural based on this conversation last year, I Hate Being Informed Like This. The funny thing is I have never seen that movie, so I guess I will be dressing on faith… such a Venus Neptune thing.

What will you be for Halloween and how does it suit your chart?

Astrology Today - Talk About How You Feel… Or Otherwise

My eye on the sky

libra symbol airThe Moon, Mars and Mercury are conjunct in Libra and people want to talk about how they feel.

Hopefully they will get their needs met, otherwise they are likely to be pissed off and blame others.

Saturn In Virgo: Elsa P - “Cracking Up”

Astrology in real life

matted-hair.jpgI am having trouble writing here lately, you may have noticed. The reason is because the Astro Dispatch is a lot of work, the work is not creative and I am finding it near impossible to switch back and forth.

As always, I have endless ideas but I am afraid (Saturn) to embark on something because when I write (Virgo) poorly, I am easily misunderstood. I may be misinterpreted or in many cases, no one knows what the hell I am talking about and in the past when this has happened I have been able to respond quickly and untangle the hair.

New Moon, New Start, My A@@!!

Ask the collective

libra girlSo how did you fair today? Were you pleasant? I was pleasant in that I did not stab someone.

I really don’t think Venus like being in Scorpio any more than Mars likes Libra, Jupiter likes Capricorn or Mercury likes going backwards!

As far as I am concerned, today was like having to smile sweetly while wearing someone else’s shoes, 2 sizes too small.

Anyone else wanna vent? Dump it here, save yourself going on a murder spree!

Hernia? Yes. Treatment? No.

Astrology in real life

neptuneHa ha ha.

Follow up to People Like Me Who Have Trouble Getting Diagnosed

So they did two ultrasounds and found a hernia. Silly me, I thought I might be treated but the surgeon told me today, the hernia is small and he’s not convinced it is what is causing the trouble. The hernia is exactly where I point to and say it hurts but he still says this.

I’ve called my doc to ask her what else might be the cause of the painful hernia that is not causing the pain. Talk about waste my ^&*$& time!

Neptoooooooon.

Saturn Opposite Uranus: People Divided - Might Bloggers Be Boycotted Over Political Ads Served By Google?

Ask the collective

mccain-obama.jpgI first time someone told me they were disturbed by a political ad on my blog (for McCain) I was surprised. But now it has happened 3 times (most recently on Astro Dispatch - check it out).

In all three cases the person who complained said the ad (all of these were McCain ads) interfered with their ability to enjoy content. I am just blown away by this.

Do people know that google serves the ads - the blogger does not select them? Will people boycott their favorite blogs over an ad served by google?

Fascinating and terrifying.

What do you think?
