Astrology Today… If You Happen To Have Pluto In Virgo Conjunct This New Moon

August 30th, 2008 @ 1:49 pm by Elsa

Astrology in real life

Today’s new Moon is conjunct Saturn and the natal Pluto of myself and anyone in my peer group and holy cow have I ever been disturbed!

I can say this unequivocally: If you put the Sun, the Moon, Saturn and Pluto in the same pot, you’re going to have some real angst.

Now I am sure someone out there has fared better and I have and I do have Pluto stationing in aspect to my Moon but my experience of this new Moon has basically been the worst of Virgo in every way shape and form.

Worry, criticism combined with depression (Saturn) and despair (Pluto).

Obama is of my generation…

Me too! I went to bed last night at 7:00 pm and really didn’t want to get up today. Trying not to say something I’ll regret based on this angst.

The new moon misses my Pluto/Uranus conjunction at 15º Virgo, but it does square my natal Mars in the 7th at 7 degrees Gemini. I’m more pissed off with everybody (and one person in particular) than anything else..

new moon is squaring my saturn at six degrees in gemini in the 5th…how is it you ask? Well…I am very intent on starting some art work tonight. Making my saturn work in its creativity.

Is Obama in some kind of despair, is that what you are saying? Why, did I miss some seriously important news? See, I gotta go, I’ll see y’all next year.

I’ve been angry, sad, determined to use my voice, my heart — anything not to sink. Sooooo—today I am being a soldier, using Virgo and Saturn energy, I think, just trying to be disciplined, run those errands and mow the lawn and clean the cobwebs and, and… squeeze in one or two good conversations with some simpaticos.

Loonsounds are you going for real? Or are you pulling a Piscean move? You will be missed! :(

Thanks Kashmiri, I appreciate that.

A Piscean move? I am not sure about that…the energy feels more overt than Pisces to me. I think it has more to do with my Rahu/MC/Pallas 27-28 Sag (with Jupiter ruling the 9th also). Jupiter is also rising, and in the 5th, double conjunct to Uranus both at 24 degrees Cancer spells fanatic.

Simply put, I am Fanatically political and I am as far to the left as just about any American can get (which isn’t far enough, in my own fanatic opinion). I know this about myself, and its a miracle I could participate here this close into the season, but I do so enjoy Elsa and the rest, and the social and existential topics. In a way I hate that I care about politics so passionately, but it will never change.

I can discuss astrology forever, but I have to pull back from politics when I feel myself getting triggered. Don’t want to be one of those planes that crashes in flames from the blog.

When its all over I usually calm down some. What else to do, you know? Like I said, hope to see y’all next year :-)

Don’t forget the new Moon conjunction is trine Jupiter.

Loonsounds, did I write something political? If so, I have no awareness of it.

Well my problems may be more in line with the Pluto moon transit. I just got a call from my daughter… she got her first period.

:sigh:

Oh, beloved Mosta.

Lots of love to her and to you and Vid and the Soldier. I’m so glad she has you as her mother!

What a day for you. Love to you and your beautiful child.

The Navajo (and other Native entities) hold a ceremony to celebrate this official start of puberty. I wish our culture would do something similar to honor womanhood.

Elsa, you didn’t need to say anything, I am not “fishing” around for anyting. It’s my problem and I own it. To answer your question, though, it looks political to me, to mention Obama in that context… I just re-read it and you mentioned angst, worry, criticism, despair and depression for your generation today, giving the name Obama. Far as I can see he is a presidential contender who has just received some beautifully articulated support from one of the most brilliant speakers our country has ever known, so why should he be upset?

See, I don’t want to get into it with anybody, that is why I am backing out. But there is the curtesy of an answer to your question, and I’ll see you guys a little bit later on. Anyway, I’ll be moving and AWK for quite a while. Peace ~ Loons

Loons - Okay but I didn’t mean it that way. I’d explain but I really don’t want to other than to say my comment was related to Princess Di and an experience I had 10 years ago rather than anything political. I don’t write about politics… in 5000 blogs here, I don’t even think I have one tag of a political nature… I am not that kind of astrologer (or person).
