Speaking Of Healing…
Astrology in real life
That last shot did the trick. I was at the pediatrician’s office almost 10 years ago, Vidroid was about 4 weeks old. It was a routine visit when the building caught on fire and I had to run out of the building carrying both kids.
I’d just had a baby and my muscles were slack. Actually, I was profoundly out of shape as well and I as I ran down the stairs blind, hoping not to trip in my sandals with unbalanced load. I had a terrified 4 year old on one hip, the sirens were screaming, the baby was in a car seat, I was exhausted from breastfeeding and by the time I got down those stairs I had torn the hell out of my back.
I have been treated and in some degree of pain since. Like I said I correlate this with the metaphysical cause (low back pain = lack of support) and as of today, 2 days post that shot on Mercury square Pluto day - I feel absolutely no pain in back.
I can thank the soldier of course, as well as the friends that have stuck by and support me. I can also thank my doctor who is an incredible man, I’ll tell you some day, he is a light who has seen me through some very dark times. But anyway, this is my news news. This is my good result gained by letting other manipulate me. Whew.
I only hope I can help others. This has got to be easier without the constant ache, I think this is damned near a miracle… another miracle let’s say.

Heather, I had this realization about this doc yesterday… it was that he’s been doing this for years and years… he is probably incredibly wealthy, and I could not wait to pay him. I realized most people resent paying a doctor just on some kind of weird principal. “Oh God, I have to pay the doctor..”
Well if there was ever someone who ought to be paid and paid well for their work it is this doc. I have been in his office in allll kinds of conditions and he has always ALWAYS been a light. The guy radiates good energy… he is just a LIGHT as is everyone who works in his office and he has has ZREO turnover in the 10 years I’ve been going there which basically says it all.
They are a group of people working in the helping profession, aging gracefully together and helping others do same.
RARE.

You have helped me help other people (fulfilling my Neptune/6th)…. I just made my double Pisces best friend feel so much better by telling her that her [crazy] Scorpio ex was using her for her energy and feeding off it. That’s just one small thing and not the only thing, but it made me feel good to help her understand.

…one kid to carry was more than enough for me. not running down flights of stairs, thank goodness, but i remember moments where walking a mile with him on my hip almost wiped me out.
pregnancy doesn’t bother me nearly so much as the long recovery.
at least, it was long in my case. some women just pick up and go right back to things… blows my mind.

Elsa Im so glad your back is better and that you’ve got that support behind you. I think this is an interesting concept about how physical pain relates to the metaphysical pain of your soul as such and one I thought about for a long time. Im just curious on what you thoughts are or anyone else’s on this related to those who are actually born with rare diseases or people with cancer?
(As an aspiring med student) It makes me glad to hear about great doctor/patient relationships like this, and especially glad to hear stories of healing that occur on many different levels, like a key in a lock finally turning. I like the idea you brought up about lower back pain being about not having enough support. Healing takes support and care and love from all sides. Glad to hear you are feeling better.
Also wanted to express thanks for this blog. Over the last month a lot of crap has been coming up and, while the particulars are different, the themes you post and write about are the same. It frequently makes me laugh and smile to know that someone else out there is dealing with a Cruella DeVile, thinking about times when a gift is more of a burden, wondering why we can’t just say we love each other when we feel it, among other things. So thanks for having this space and participating in healing in ways that might not be evident.
I also wonder about the Pluto/deep lower back connection. A total novice at astrology, it would seem like 8th house issues could easily manifest in the lower back. (”Financial support as well as spiritual, emotional and physical support are addressed by this House.” -astrology.com) Also the 8th house as the house of transformation - and, in the yogic system of thought, the lower back, particularly the sacrum and tail, as the house of kundalini energy - seems like some connections could be drawn.
Just back to say… I don’t feel ONE iota of pain in my body… I just can’t believe it………
