His Scorpio Moon And My 8th House: “What Makes You Tick, Panizzon?”

Last night the soldier asked me that question just out of the blue. We were sitting in the bathtub with out Blue Nun (ha ha ha) and he looked at me deadly serious and asked, “What makes you tick, Panizzon?”
We went on to discuss this for several hours and I knew I was going to put this on my blog because come on. It’s a terrific question. So this is from my 8th house to your whatever:

A compulsion to keep moving forward no matter what. I attribute this to my Sag ASC, a Grand Fire Trine involving Mars, and Sun opposed Uranus.
what Cassi said. to the Nth. no one’s ever asked me that, for sure. wouldn’t that be something… like winning the lottery.
that said, trying to stay in the flow, that place where it feels like you’re on the right track. staying in the flow is hard cos if you look it straight in the eye you lose it. you’ve always got to keep it in your peripheral vision (metaphorically speaking) which is HARD.
and sex, always motivated by the sex.
You guys are deep today! Don’t look ‘the flow’ straight in the eye. But do look at the monsters in the closet and under the bed and they go away, right? That is what I’ve heard.
No one has ever asked me that either, Elsa.

Becca, if I had to thoughtfully address what really makes me tick I’d be in therapy for the rest of my life (already spent most of it). at some point I just decided to close my eyes and point. I figure sex is as good a reason as any.

Loonsounds, we had a very long conversation about this and plan to continue it for the rest of our lives. We like this stuff!!! 
The soldier seems to have an air of authority in the bath tub Elsa. It does sound like one of those six week - workshop kind of questions “what makes you tick”. Maybe its best if he doesn’t know and leaves that piece of work up to you?

Food and curiousity.
I really love food, and I always want to know what’s coming up next. I have other issues and drive, security runs pretty high and I do really really really like having people . . but curiousity and that craving for a steak dinner . . they’ll always get me to tomorrow.
karmic debt.
I think this will always keep the romance alive. To admit that you never really know everything about your partner and you never will, but to keep wanting to know more and more and more. That is what wrong with my long marriage. I think he’d have rather ate ground glass than talk about topics like what it is that made either of us tick.
I never know what that question means. It is so vague. What does it mean?
