Astrology Today - Taurus Has It Made… Libra Too For That Matter
My eye on the sky
The Moon winds up it’s bumpy ride through Virgo tonight and will join Venus, Mercury and Mars in Libra tomorrow bringing many relief.
The Sun is conjunct Saturn in Virgo, trine Jupiter in Capricorn so Taurus is nicely supported. Ruler Venus is in it’s own sign so that goes double. Libra is also faring well which the mutable signs remain under pressure courtesy Saturn.
All in all it’s a walk in the park compared to the last few days. Those who came unglued over the weekend should be able to stabilize tomorrow.

More Communication Blackouts… Astrology Blogs And News Etc.
Behind the scenes @ ElsaElsa
Sorry to interrupt here, but there is a gal I am working with via email and just want to let her know her mail is bouncing. If you are her, please contact me.
Also, I apologize for the recent downtime of the blog here. HQ’s brother (The Mechanic) believes he’s resolved it and you may notice the site is FAST now so we got a bonus on that front.
As far as the (new) Astro News, Top 10 has been down for 3 days. I have no news from them of course but the solution to all this chaos is in process and I just hope we can launch soon as the pasting together of stuff is very demanding.
I am inordinately optimistic though. Actually, I feel thrilled with the idea of this coming together and existing without tremendous (unseen) problems. I am telling you that investing in Top 10 for almost 2 years with the threat of it disappearing hanging over my head has been a real stress.

Hearing Your Calling - Share Your Experiences
Ask the collective
goddess writes regarding the soldier who did not quit on Voice Of Mars: Ranger School:
“sounds like he was in the right line of work…”
goddess, I agree. There have been a lot of comments made along these lines: “Why would anyone volunteer to be a soldier?” I thought it was interesting the same day I posted that blog, this story broke:
Prince Harry Desperate to Return to Front Line in Afghanistan

The Soldier And P… Saturn Transits And The Reality Of Aging
Astrology in real life
The soldier and I left the gym together, walked to the car and attempted to get in. I was driving and kept clicking the key clicker as we stood on each side of the car pulling on the door handles.
“Why can’t we get in?” I asked.
“I don’t know. You’ve got the keys,” he said. “Open it.”
I clicked and clicked again. “Hey! Is this not our car?”
He snorted. “No it’s not. Damn, P.” He laughed heartily.
“Why are you laughing? You think that’s funny?” I asked.
“Hell yeah, it’s funny.” (swearing below the break)

Sun Conjunct Saturn @ 9 Years Old - Severing A Friendship With The New Moon Conjunct Saturn
Astrology in real life
My son severed his friendship with the the quirky Aquarian this weekend and it’s been an enormous challenge for me as well as a learning experience that is unparalleled in my lifetime. I am going to try to write about this so you can judge the situation yourself but the upshot is this:
Sometimes a child really can make the best call. In this case, the 9 year old was not only able to read the situation better than his mother, he had the courage and strength of his convictions to to take appropriation action in spite of it being painful and difficult.

Pluto Transit To The Moon - Mine: How Do You Move Towards Resolution Post A Traumatic Event?
Astrology in real life
I’ve written a few times about the challenge of not falling into the abyss due the trauma of losing my daughter. I have tried to navigate the best I can and now with Pluto fixing the turn direct, the loss is being hammered home and it’s occurred to me I’d be well advised to make some kind of pivot here, but how?  Just exactly how can I move beyond a state where I walk around in stupor mumbling, “How does something like this happen? How could it?”
You may or may not know the soldier has lost not one but two daughters. He has come to the obvious conclusion he was not meant to have a daughter and in fact when we started to come together, he thought he might get a third chance. He thought my daughter could be his daughter and we could raise her together but as you can see this is not how it played and the loss to him is staggering - He just does not get to have a daughter this life and that is all there is to it.

Open Question: How Is The Current Stellium In Libra Affecting You?
Ask the collective
Venus, Mercury and Mars are tightly conjunct in Libra at the moment and it’s causing me a lot of unexpected grief. The intense focus on the sign almost demands a person be civil. The sky wants fairness and balance and pleasantness and this is so hard to deliver with Pluto stationing in aspect to my Moon.
I told a pal yesterday, it has occurred to me these next 10 days or so promise to be some of the most intense of my life and I just don’t feeeeel (Moon) very social. And it reminds me of something my sister told me 20 years ago. She is also an astrologer and she said that Libra always had problems with me.
“Why? Why is that?” I asked always curious of her opinion.
“Because Libra doesn’t like pits in their cherries, never mind pits in their stomachs. And you, Elsa, give people stomach trouble like none other.”
My sister has a Sagittarius Moon conjunct Jupiter and she will tell you what she thinks. I understand what she said then better today than I ever had before because *I* have a pit in my stomach and *I* wish to be able to join the gay party unfettered. However, no such luck.
How are you faring with these planets in Libra?

Astrology Today… If You Happen To Have Pluto In Virgo Conjunct This New Moon
Astrology in real life
Today’s new Moon is conjunct Saturn and the natal Pluto of myself and anyone in my peer group and holy cow have I ever been disturbed!
I can say this unequivocally: If you put the Sun, the Moon, Saturn and Pluto in the same pot, you’re going to have some real angst.
Now I am sure someone out there has fared better and I have and I do have Pluto stationing in aspect to my Moon but my experience of this new Moon has basically been the worst of Virgo in every way shape and form.
Worry, criticism combined with depression (Saturn) and despair (Pluto).
Obama is of my generation…

Voice Of Mars - Ranger School Redux
Astrology in real life
“There was another guy, he got tangled up in line hanging from an airplane… he got all jumbled up and tangled,” the soldier said. “They looked down, the plane was going like this,” he said rocking back and forth to indicate instability. “They cut the rope on him. Â They just cut the rope and he fell.”
“He died?”
“Yeah.” (swearing below the break) Continue reading Voice Of Mars - Ranger School Redux
