   well, i’m not going to sign my name on a joint letter i find patently offensive, regardless.

   there’s way to get around this and keep my mouth shut, sure, but i’m sure i’m going to have to explain at least some portion of my discontent….

   Hmm, does this aspect have something to do with the comments being closed on the dating-a-Cancer -man blog? Shoot, I got here too late. I had good stuff to say. Carry on, everyone! I actually have things to talk about with my Cancer man tonight, but I will definitely be keeping a tight rein on my mouth.

   Jessica - No, that was an error. I wrote that piece in 2005 back before we had comments on this blog and pulled it up to revamp because I am under the gun here.

   Got it already via another person. Full blast. Thankfully, I was protected. But my intermediary said the effect of my letter was like a “hitting a bear with a bb gun; you just pissed her off.”

   I could have sent butterflies (actually pretty damned close to it) and it would not have mattered. When a bear’s a bear, there’s not much you can do about that.
