Taurus Suffers Saturn In Virgo: Diet, Food Restrictions And Weight Chart

Astrology in real life

taurus bullThe soldier has got to lose weight and has resorted to using Fitday.com to track calorie intake.

“Look, P. I am severely overweight. Severely!”

I laughed. “No, your body…”

“P, it says it right there,” he said pointing to the screen. “And look at this. Would you like to make your journal public? They want to know if I want people to see this, are they out of their f’ckin minds?”

“Yeah, I can’t imagine that.  Are you making graphs? Graphs and goals?”

“No.”

“Oh come on.”

“Okay,” he said. “This is my goal.”

He typed 99 pounds into the weight box.  Seeing he wasn’t serious I took off. “Get down below 100, you can get back in your prom dress,” I said over my shoulder. A few minutes later I came back in.

rhino-sleeping.jpg“They wouldn’t let me do it. I am not allowed to get from where I am to 99 pounds in 2 days.”

“It just said no, you delusional bastard?” I asked.

“Yeah.  And I made a suggestion. I think they need a new category, SHOCKINGLY severely overweight.  That’s my category.”

P just shook her head. The soldier has gained 20 pounds since he quit smoking which is about normal I’d say. However his (rhino) body is such that even at his optimum weight when he is in peak condition, he shows overweight on a chart so he’s milkin’ this.

Anyone else on a Saturn in Virgo diet? How’s it coming? (Slow I bet)

Still eating fairly the same (badly…think Tollhouse Cookies, homemade mexican food, and an abundance of snacks in between). The difference is, I’m exercising now!
Which in turn makes me convince myself that I can eat more!

a friend posted a pic of us together a few weeks ago and I was disgusted with myself. granted, I was particularly bloaty that week, but I’m sick of hating every pic of me.

I was so stressed out the last few days that I had trouble eating so I decided to take advantage of the fact and made a decision to each much less, but more often– and more healthily of course.

I also cleaned out the fridge and got rid of all the questionable stuff. there’s very little in there now.

as an aside– did anyone see the “news” story on the english girl who, after five hours of working, discovered a baby bat in her BRA? given that scenario I find it’s entirely possible my severely overweight cat could stow away in mine for several days before being noticed. diet time.

I was doing so well, and my pants are still loose, but this week I’ve definitely taken a nose-dive.

I was drowning my sorrows in a baggie of cheezits yesterday. Oh, the shame. :)

And today I ate PIZZA.

But, tomorrow, I’m bound and determined to go running again. My shins feel better. Everything ELSE feels worse after a week of not exercising, but… my shins feel better.

Yeah, slooow. I’m trying to eliminate my stomach aka “baby house” after housing two of them with pilates. It works. . .when I stick with it.

Yes, on a very strict and extreme diet, changed my eating habits 180 degrees. And yes, given the nature of the diet I would have thought I would have lost more than I have lost, but still I am losing, slowly but surely. It’s always the hardest with that last 20 pounds, but I prefer how I feel when I am very very thin.

Awww. Just plain congrats to the soldier for quitting smoking. I did. Gained the 20. But I’m healthy and happy!

tedious, tiring, one step forward, three back. And the stress is killing me…I am good about food and exercise, but the rest of my world is crashing and that is putting the weight back on. I just want a break….2 more years????

Here’s sending y’all some cheer–and congrats on the Soldier and doublecappy quitting smoking. It is a be-yotch…my Saturn in Virgo diet is going pretty good.
I’ve been having weird nausea in the morning (feels like morning sickness but I’m not preggers) but if I keep the food on hand I need to feel good/regulated it seems to be fleeting. Yes, slow going.

i’m biking and eating chocolate and it’s all good. ;)

seriously, he should go by body fat percentages rather than the stupid BMI they have indexed for americans who sit all day.

I’m down almost 25 lbs without trying …. yay tango? It was never my goal to lose weight but I’m digging it.

I have been trying to get in to see my new dentist, cuz I have issues there. Should be able to get on his LIST tomorrow, and schedule an appointment … *rolls eyes* Much work to be done.

Yay Shannon, doublecappy, and Soldier! There’s a gniftyparty and y’all’s invited. There’ll be hats!

My Saturn in Virgo diet = not going so great, either. With N. Saturn in Virgo, one would think I wouldn’t have a problem here. *lol* Jupiter rising, maan, I’ve been some level of fat my entire adult life. Plus, I have health problems that make losing weight extremely difficult; for example, there was the time I limited myself to near my BMR in kcals/day and worked out (30 min cardio, 45 mins weights) everyday and gained some nice definition yet lost no weight over a three month period.
Frustrating!

May I please ask you what you have been eating (and not eating) Shannon, you lucky uh, lucky person?

SaDiablo, what you said about not losing weight over three months is the scariest thing I’ve heard in a while. My sister doesn’t have Jupiter rising, but she has Jupiter Rx in the Asc and wow, she really has weight problems.

I feel that my butt is my worst feature no matter how much weight I lose, ‘buns of steal’ does not run in my family, LOL. Maybe I need to move to a horse ranch and ride night and day. I have heard taht will help. Anyone know about horse riding and weight loss?

I’m actually losing weight these days without even trying to! That’s very rare for me - and welcome!:) The transiting Mars/Saturn conjunction is squaring my chart ruler Jupiter from the 8th house, and transiting Jupiter is near my progressed Asc.

Loonsounds, I’m not sure about losing weight by riding hoss but I know it will give you some great legs fo’ sho’. A nurse I used to work with owned some horses, rode year-round, and her legs were buff as hell! As for your sister, if her Jupiter is conjunct the ASC (but especially from the first house), she also has Jupiter rising. Poor thing! *laughing ’cause Jup rising is almost always happy anyway*

*LOL* I’m glad you pointed that out, kashmiri. Libra won over Virgo today, I was gonna let it slide even though I totally snerted when I read it. :D

Good, I am glad Libra won! Because I have been getting a little more than enough “input” from the Virgo contingent today :-)

I’m one of those pesky grammarians most of the time. I suppose it’s because that Virgo Saturn conjuncts my Leo Merc. Rules, people, rules! *snicker* Half the time I successfully fight the nit-picker reaction, though; having stelliums in Libra really must help with tact ’cause none of my other placements are notable in that regard!
In other words, kick ‘em in the shins, Loon! (hee hee. . ..)

I get it, mom has virgo ASC, and she does not miss a lick. I can not so much as split an infinitive, I’ll tell y’all. Death by Virgo LOL

I lost about 15 lbs this year while Saturn was in Virgo (it’s also been right on my Ascendant and opposing my natal Saturn). I wasn’t very overweight but the doctor thought that even just losing 10 lbs might make a difference in my cholesterol level, which was high last December when I saw him. We were trying everything else first, before resorting to medication. Lost the 15 lbs, became more conscious of reading labels and staying away from over-processed foods. Got my cholesterol levels down to where they need to be, no meds. Taurus Sun, Virgo Rising. :)
