Mars Mercury And The Family Hot Air Balloon

Astrology in real life

hot-air-balloon.jpgSpeaking of all the hot air around here, guess what that is?

That’s the family hot air balloon… we have worked on it for weeks.  Designed by the soldier we are hoping to launch it tonight with an alcohol soaked cotten ball.

Mars Mercury, see?

We’re hoping no one calls in a UFO sighting… :)

even your balloons have neptune on the midheaven… at first glance I thought it was a fancy cloth diaper hanging from a doorknob. now, of course, I can see it’s a gorgeous hot air balloon. :)

It looks very professionally made, but is there a reason behind it? Is it just for fun, Elsa?

Snap - he just had the idea and wanted to see if it would work.

He also has an idea for an engine that will be about 12″X12″ and will have 80 horsepower, enough to run a car. I am living with a (near) genius.

I take credit for some of this because to think best he wants me in the room for my Babe the Pig effect I suppose.

He has always felt we would have been and would be unstoppable if we got together so we’ll see. It was 18 months of his living in a truck and my driving to see him all over the map to get here. It’s only been about 6 weeks since he landed and do think we’re kickin’ ass. You ought to see my new sawhorses. :-)

Anyway, he is going to build his workshop and then his engine. Has no interest in selling it, just wants to build it. Remember his hero is some calculating guy… his father invented the digital meters you see today in taxi cabs.

Blah, blah. We are going to go see a movie in the same theater we saw Apocalypse Now when it came out. Wheeeeeeeee!

Geeze Elsa, A gazelle, a pig, are you any other animals that we should know about? LOL

Loved that movie.

P.S. Hope you guys have a great time tonight - little walk down memory lane?

No, it’s not paper mache. It is actually just tissue paper but it is deflated. In theory when the cotton ball burns beneath it will fill with hot air and fly off. He had to conceive it and do the math to make the pieces…24 panels and then we had to glue them which took 2 weeks… just the damned glue!

Well, primarily I am a dog… a satisfied dog and we aren’t doing the movie tonight. We have to travel to the desert to do that. He’s not been there in 20 years… we’ve not been there together in almost 29 but we used to rip that place up. So we are deciding what we are going to (re)do. Eat our old food and stuff.

We used to ride the motorcycle(s) to this greasy food place, get our food and sit on one of the parking blocks in front of the place and eat and laugh and laugh and laugh. We;ll be doing that again for sure. We don’t give a fuck. Didn’t care then and sure as hell don’t care now - We’re old!!!

But is that greasy food place still there, though?
Sucks when they have to go and change things, then all you’ve got are the memories.

So you’re also a dog, eh? Hmmmm, well I guess if you have to be a dog, it might as well be a satisfied one! Buuuut, what kind of a dog? A little yappy chihuahua, ohhhhh, how about a terrier - you know, they never give up!

A hound dog? Sayyy, you’re not also a nice shiny chicken, are you? LOL

Yeah, it’s there. I was in town when Pluto stationed on my Moon about 2 years ago and took pictures of all our old haunts and sent them to him. The NO-Tel motel is still there, we might go there as well, what the hell! We crossed the picket line when it opened - They owe us!

Hi Snapdragon! Yes, I said that the balloon looks like a piñata and added the link that didn’t work but Elsa fixed it - thank you Elsa!
Piñatas hang from the ceiling and are full of candies, and you get a stick and try to tear it to get the candies.

I love that the shiny chicken lives on.

Hope the wind settles down soon. I want to hear about the balloon taking off!

Wyrdling, that’s exactly was I was thinking - some fine seams. I imagined that they were sewn.
