Jupiter in Capricorn idea: A pilgrimage to the place where your family is from for the purpose of finding out more about the karma connected to the family tree.

Jupiter in Capricorn: Drink Responsibly. [Have a damned good time, but don't be stupid!]

Deirdre, I just came back from Scotland visiting the family, and now I’m tying together the karma part. My Uncle took some mighty manhandling, but my cousin and I got to dig in the photos/papers box and what did I find?

MY GRANDPARENTS BIRTHTIMES!

yay yay yay…it’s like gold.

I was NOT surprised to see strong Pluto signatures, this family is full of it.

Hot diggity dog, Kashmiri. Now you will have a picnic over your familily’s cosmic DNA. Cheers!

Kashmiri–My parents can never remember their birthtime whenever I ask, but as I was looking for my birth certificate last week so I can get my passport (going to Germany in August! Whoop!)and found their birth certificates too. I have never believed in astrology so much as I do now that I have seen my dad’s chart. It’s mind blowing!
Congrats on finding the gold!

Restrict (Saturn) excesses in eating (Jupiter), so Jupiter in Capricorn, watch your waistline, especially if you live in Japan or serve in the military.

I am so fuckin’ jealous of you, Kashmiri. My God how I would love to get my hands on that kind of data. Even (especially) my father’s birthtime. Awesome score!

I must be a real flake head today. I could have sworn Jupiter was already in Capricorn.

Loons, you wouldn’t believe how hard it was to get. Let’s just say we caught my Uncle after a few rounds in the pub, and just opened up the cupboard and started with the photos of him.
Ha ha ha…oh yeah, he has Leo Sun/Mercury conjunct.

‘Look at this photo of you!’ And while he swooned over how incredibly handsome he was (and actually, he and my Dad and other Uncle were stunningly handsome) we dug frantically through papers.

Is there any chance at all? Birth times are recorded in hospitals…aren’t they?

Shell- yup. Looking at their charts was intense. But good. I’m trying my best to assimilate everything that’s come my way in the last 2 months but it is a pretty tall order, so slow-going.

Wish I had a project like that, Kashmiri. My birth time is not even on my certificate. My mother remembers, and I have rectified it, but still I feel….not quite “all there” at birth (typical, typical, Neptune rising).

Elsa, LOL, and thank God cuz I was pretty sure it was well into Cap. in W. Astro … so then I was wracking my brain, thinking I had confused it with Vedic.

Actually, I wish it would just stay in Sag forever and float back and forth over my MC ;-)./

Actually, my birth time wasn’t on mine, either, it was on the little ‘congrats it’s a girl’ card from the hospital, which had the doctor’s name on it.

I am highly confused about my own chart sometimes, because there are significant differences if I use Placidus, Equal House, or Koch.

If I use equalized House system/Koch I have Virgo MC and Saturn in the 8th, as well as Sun/Mercury in the 5th.

According to Placidus I have Scorpio MC, Saturn in the 7th, Sun/Mercury in the 4th, as well as intercepted signs. So I don’t know what to think. I try to look at it from both views. I’ve been studying astrology for about 4 years now, but my process of learning has been slow.

And Elsa’s blog really, really teaches me. {{{Elsa!}}} You are a beam of light. Thanks :)
