Digging To The Center Of The Earth… Exposes Your Astrological Personality

Astrology in real life

hole-center-of-earth.jpgAbout a week ago, Vidroid started digging a hole in the backyard alongside the soldier working on his giant sawhorses. Later the soldier told me that Vid said he was digging to the center of the earth.

“Yeah?” I said. “I had the same ambition when I was a kid.  Confidence and delusion, it runs in the family.”

He just stared and then 3 days later, Vid’s friend was over and they were digging some more. Keep in mind my grandfather dug a hole in his yard big enough to make an underground house… with a shovel! The soldier reported in:

“They made plans,’ he said. “They have a list of things they’re going to take.”

“Like what?”

“Pen knife. Bottled water. Stuff like that. They also have an escape route they are going to dig… a tunnel leading out. I looked at it and told them you better have more than one of those. What if someone blocks that one off? You need at least two…’

“They got that plan thing from you,” I said. “You and all your site-plan documents for this house and all those saw horse plans you drew…”

A week later - The hole is pretty big now.

‘Well they’re working,” I said. “I didn’t get that far on mine. I gave up when I realized I didn’t have anyone on the other side of the world to dig a hole and meet me in the middle.  See that? That’s Libra. I can’t do anything without a partner. I’m just wasted.”

He stared.

“What happened to your tunnel?” I asked.

“I got to a point where it caved in and at that point I was introduced to physics.”

You can see the astrology. The soldier is on a solo mission, my son and I have Libra and want a partner right away.

Further, my son has Saturn conjunct his Sun and his friend has Saturn conjunct his Moon. See how they’ve found themselves a mentor?

Do you have a “dig to the center of the earth” story? How does it fit your chart?

I vaguely remember starting to dig to China. I believe my Pisces mother told me it couldn’t be done and I gave up. Saturn in Pisces in the 4th house. I don’t remember being too concerned about it. I’m easily distracted so most likely a butterfly came by or something else more interesting than a big hole caught my attention.

i met my only friend in third grade on the hill slope next to the playground making tunnels. we built a whole city there of miniature tunnels and arches until someone came in one day when we weren’t around and stomped them into collapse. we sort of gave up then.

no intention to get to china, but lots of time spent digging nonetheless. we used rocks and sticks :)

i miss that…. should try it again one of these days

Oh my gosh, you brought up a memory I haven’t thought of in many years. When I was five, maybe six, the neighbors who lived across the street let the kids (including myself) dig a HUGE hole in their back yard. I can’t remember exactly why, but think maybe they were going to put in a garden? In any case, there were several of us there digging away in good ol’ Chicago dirt for hours. Once we all exhausted ourselves and pulled out of the hole, they had a pig roast. Yep, whole pig in a big spit in their back yard.

Is the guy who dug the hole as big as a house, your grandfather, is that the same guy who refused to own a couch and slept on the porch? And, out of curiousity, was this man, by chance, a quirky Aquarian? ;-)

back when I was 8 a kid down the road where I was living and I decieded to dig as far as we could. We dug about 6 feet deep then his father found out. We were in trouble. In Minnesota it is dangerous to dig deep…underground water and such.
I found out a few years later that as they were filling it in the bottom went out and they had an underground stream there.

How do I search the blog for Henry?

On, and on digging….I don’t; never have, not in the earth. Allergic to manual labor, y’know?

i thought about it after my mom asked me if i was digging to china, then it occurred to me that the furthest side of the earth from california probably wasn’t china.

i did dig a lot of holes, though.

This is sooo embarrassing, but I distinctly remember my childhood best friend and I vowing to be prostitutes when we grew up. We didn’t understand what the big deal was, and why people thought it was bad. We were gonna change the way people viewed prostitution if it was the last thing we did!
Not really digging a hole, but we were gonna take a shot at the impossible. I’m a Scorpio ASC and she was a Scorpio Sun…..prostitution was an interesting subject to us 9 year olds. Yikes.

OK I just read everything about Henrey, WOW!!!

I love him!!! Plus, I agree with every single one of his opinions, which really helps.

It looked like somewhere his chart was posted, but I did not find it. I will go look again tomorrow.

Wow great story and very interesting because I have never had this experience or thought. I do love secret passage ways and hidden ways to escape though (Mars Neptune). Sounds like a lot of fun though

Hahahahha

I went diggin’ with my brother Our sun’s are trine, his sun is also cnj my moon, and his moon is cnj my mars so we started a lot of stuff together, however his (12th house ~ building our dreams heheh) saturn is also sq my mars so, he usually finished it for ‘us’ (because he’d driven me crazy).

Pretty soon after we’d started we had to divide it up into shifts so we didn’t fight over control (virgo’s so picky! and Saturn sq. my mars I couldn’t dig correctly!? The hole was getting bigger! Right enough for me!), and then we started to disagree on the details (he wanted to reinforce with boards, I pointed out we didn’t HAVE any boards. Plus that would take so LONG {boring}), and then all my 12th house neptune took over and I delegated ;) the (boring) digging and went to make us some jello and some brownies.
