The Soldier And P Contemplate Socializing - Drumming?

This is for the very social stellium in Gemini trine Neptune in Aquarius. Regarding the people at the soldier’s new job…
“Yeah, they want us to go places with them, P. They keep asking me - This time it’s some drumming thing they want us to go to.”
“Drumming?”
“Yeah, drumming. I don’t know what the hell it is. Apparently some people get together and bang on drums. Congo drums… I don’t know. He said lots of Puerto Rican people go there.”
I just stared at him and he held out his arm.
“Let me see your arm,” he said.
I could tell he wanted to compare color so I put my arm alongside his. “I’m darker than you,” I said.
“You are not.”
“I think I am - You’ve been in the sun. Turn over,” I said flipping my arm to the underside was up. His skin was clearly darker. “No, you’re right, you’re darker.”
“Good.”
“Why?”
“Because I told that bastard (term of affection) I was darker than you.”
“He said I was darker than you?”
“Yeah. He said your girlfriend - She’s a Puerto Rican.”
“Puerto Rican?”
“Yeah, he thinks you’re Puerto Rican. He doesn’t know what the hell he’s taking about. I said, she’s not Puerto Rican. She’s a Italian. Italian? She’s Italian, he said all curious. And then I said…” He started yelling in Spanish: “Something, something, Italiano! Something, something, Italiano, something something something!”
I laughed.
“Yeah, I started yelling and he could tell I didn’t like anyone talking about my girlfriend. Don’t talk about her and don’t look at her. You look at my girlfriend too much and I will take your eyes right out of your head.”
“How’s your dinner?” I asked.
“It’s good. But anyway, P, we’re going to have to go somewhere with these people. We’re going to have to socialize. Why do they want to socialize, anyway? I like them and all but why be social? Why do they do it, P?”
I stared.
“Yeah, people in the South don’t socialize. They just don’t socialize.”
“They don’t?”
“Hell no! People in the South leave you alone but here everyone wants you to go sing Kumbayah with them. I don’t want to sing Kumbayah, P. I don’t want to do it but I think we’re going to have to eventually because I just can’t keep putting them off. I mean I’m glad they like me but I don’t see why they feel they have to know me. Why do they want to know me so well? Why would anyone want to know me - I just have no idea. It just beats the hell out of me why these guys want to go do stuff. I mean, why?”

ooooooooooo, a drum circle is COOOOOOOL and fun! I wish someone would invite me to a drum circle!
don’t think this is what that is… but not sure. I mean it’s like they are in there speaking Colorado to him and he is completely baffled.
But yeah. It sounds like something else, er…. maybe. I guess that’s the Uranus in Pisces part. It is group of people doing God knows what!
People do socialize in the South LOL. He is just trying to wiggle out of going.

Why be social? This Taurus seconds that! But I also have all of my planets except saturn on the lower part of the circle, under the AC/DC. I have heard that is a sign of an introvert. The extroverts have more on the top half of the wheel. Maybe that fits the soldier, maybe not.
I get a kick out of how people look at me when a prediction doesn’t pan out (or doesn’t seem to at first) and I say,
“Hey, guess what, “Sometimes I am wrong, sometimes it doesn’t seem to work or astrology is wrong.”
I heard James Braha say something like 70 to 80 percent of the time it is right, don’t expect more.

People do socialize in the South, but only if you’re “in.” Be out and, honey, you’re out.

LOL. Taurus’ can be seen as being a drum type person. Normally i don’t like any kind of stereo-typeing, but this is funny to me. cause i have been in his shoes, you want to go, but at the same time, don’t really know if it’s for you. buuuurrrrummmmm!
I went to a drum thing once… drums and dancing. It was awkward, most likely because I was a good 20+ years younger than everyone else.
As for why socialize, why… socializing is good for your health.
Hmm….I live in the South, but like a true Texan (brushes shoulders) I have to say that Texas is like a whole other country. People like socializing here. All kinds of cliques and races..intertwined. I love it.
The only other southern place I’ve lived (where I’m from, actually) is Arizona which is the Southwest so I don’t think that is considered “the South”. Not so friendly there, IMO.
My husband is in Indiana right now and he told me on the phone yesterday “People are rude here.”
I said “You’re not in Texas anymore, Toto.”
I think if Texas had a sign, it would be Leo
shell…ya think?! If the whole state isn’t Leo, I’d be willing to bet at least Dallas is…you should see all the shiny glass building in which the city can stare at itself! (I love my adopted state btw, but that doesn’t me I’m blinded by it)
I don’t like to socialise much either, like going somewhere where I don’t really know people and having to make conversation. Why should I want to do that? Why would anyone want to do that? I’ve got friends anyway, I occasionally make a new one, and that does me. When I do go to parties, I’m usually being dutiful, like this Saturday: I’ve got my exit planned already.
